Chabad Outfit To Endorse Military Chaplains
March 17, 2006
An ultra-Orthodox organization will start endorsing chaplains for the United States military, ending the 88-year-long monopoly on endorsements held by the multi-denominational body that had vetted all previous candidates.
The Aleph Institute,(Who promotes the Nasi, Steinsaltz) an organization linked to the Chabad-Lubavitch movement previously known for helping Jewish prisoners, was approved last month by the Department of Defense to endorse chaplains.
First they had to banish praying in Jesus the Christ name
Endorsing agencies provide a required seal of approval for any religious leader who wants to join one of the three branches of the military. The Miami-based Aleph Institute will join the Jewish Welfare Board's Jewish Chaplains Council, which, since 1918, has been the only body endorsing Jewish chaplains. The Aleph Society, promoting the educational efforts of Rabbi Adin ...

The chaplains council is run by the Jewish Community Center Association and brings together the Reform, Conservative and Orthodox movements to vet candidates.
The approval of aChabad-Lubavitch body is particularly notable because Chabad rabbis — known for their eagerness in reaching out to unaffiliated Jews — are currently not able to become chaplains because of a military regulation banning beards. The new body will endorse rabbis from other corners of the Orthodox world, but it is also likely to lead any efforts to overturn the military's prohibition on chaplains having beards. In the past, Orthodox rabbis have quietly complained that the Jewish Chaplains Council did not seem interested in working to change the rule. The chaplains council also has been under pressure because of a general shortage of Jewish chaplains in the military. Dov Zekheim

The approval of the Aleph Institute comes shortly after the retirement of the rabbi who ran the Jewish Chaplains Council for the last 24 years. The council has chosen a replacement, according to an executive at the JCC Association, and an announcement of the decision is expected within two weeks.
The new executive director of the Aleph Institute's Military Programs, Rabbi Sanford Dresin, said he wants to work in cooperation with the chaplains council. But — pointing to the low number of rabbinic chaplains — he questioned the chaplains council's past work.
"The chaplains council is acaptive of the JCC Association," Dresin told the Forward. "It may not be the highest priority of the JCCs."
Currently only 29 of the 2,850 active-duty chaplains in the military are rabbis, and chaplain recruiters have specifically tried to raise the numbers. Of the 29, already half come from the Orthodox world.(Hassidim) The Reform movement in particular has struggled to attract new chaplains, largely because the salary offered by the military is so much less than that offered by most Reform congregations. Recently the Reform movement's rabbinical union moved to allow cantors to become chaplains.
The Aleph Institute only plans to endorse Orthodox rabbis, according to Dresin. Though Dresin is not affiliated with Chabad, he has a daughter who lives in the Chabad community in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. A pulpit rabbi at a Modern Orthodox synagogue in Delaware, Dresin said he likes the "enthusiasm" of the Chabad movement.
Dresin also said he would be targeting more right-wing Orthodox and Hasidic yeshivas, and he already has begun looking at Israeli yeshivas that have American students.
"We feel we can reach out to many rabbinical schools and people in the Orthodox community that may not have been touched by the Jewish Welfare Board," Dresin said.
The Orthodox rabbi who sits on the Jewish Chaplains Council, Rabbi Jacob Greenberg, said his group has been open to rabbis of all stripes, but, he added, "if they think they can do a better job, let them come in and try."
The Aleph Institute already has endorsed its first chaplain for the navy: a rabbi in his early 40s who recently received his ordination from Aish HaTorah in Los Angeles after an earlier career in business. Dresin said that the candidate had spoken earlier with the chaplains council but "there had been no follow-through."
One lingering question for the more religiously observant rabbis whom Dresin is seeking out is how they will survive in the military, where chaplains have to deal with Jews from all backgrounds as well as with non-Jews — and all outside the comfortable surrounding of an established Jewish community. Dresin, who was an active-duty chaplain for 26 years and had stints in Korea and Vietnam, said he will be seeking candidates who would be "willing to step out of the box — without the support system of his particular Jewish ghetto."
The filthy murdering Blasphemous Treasonous Vipers, do Lie, yet again
Some officials, citing evidence from highly classified satellite feeds and electronic eavesdropping, believe the Iranian regime is playing host to much of Al Qaeda's remaining brain trust and allowing the senior operatives freedom to communicate and help plan the terrorist network's operations
And they suggest that recently elected President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad may be forging an alliance with Al Qaeda operatives as a way to expand Iran's influence or, at a minimum, that he is looking the other way as Al Qaeda leaders in his country collaborate with their counterparts elsewhere.
Now for the spin
"Iran is becoming more and more radicalized and more willing to turn a blind eye to the Al Qaeda presence there," a U.S. counter-terrorism official said.
The accusations from U.S. officials about Iranian nuclear ambitions and ties to Al Qaeda echo charges that Bush administration figures made about Iraq in the run-up to the U.S.-led invasion three years ago.
Those charges about Iraq have been discredited. And in the case of Iran, some intelligence officials and analysts are unconvinced that Al Qaeda operatives are being allowed to plot terrorist acts. If anything, they suggest, the escalating tensions between Shiite and Sunni Muslims in Iraq would logically cause Iran's Shiite government to crack down on Al Qaeda, whose Sunni leadership has denounced Shiites as infidels.
A U.S. intelligence official said he did not see any relaxation in Iran's restrictions on Al Qaeda members.
"I'm not getting the sense that these people are free to roam, free to plot," the official said.
Still, the official acknowledged that the relationship between Tehran and Al Qaeda officials within Iran was largely unknown to U.S. and allied intelligence, especially since Ahmadinejad's election last summer.
To some U.S. intelligence officials, what worries them most is what they don't know.
"I don't need to exaggerate the difficulty in determining what these people are up to at any given moment," the intelligence official said.
The U.S. counter-terrorism official was more blunt. "We don't have any intelligence going on in Iran. No people on the ground," he said. "It blows me away the lack of intelligence that's out there."
Well at least that part is right, there is
no intelligence in Iraq
U.S., European and Arab intelligence officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the issues publicly.
Ties between Iran and Al Qaeda were highlighted by the Sept. 11 commission, which disclosed a wealth of details about such connections in its final report. The commission said Iran and Al Qaeda had worked together sporadically throughout the 1990s, trading secrets, including some related to making explosives.
Iranian representatives to the United Nations did not return repeated phone calls seeking comment.
In November, the State Department's third-ranking official, Undersecretary R. Nicholas Burns, said the U.S. believed "that some Al Qaeda members and those from like-minded extremist groups continue to use Iran as a safe haven and as a hub to facilitate their operations."
A year ago, Iranian delegates to a global counter-terrorism conference circulated a document describing Iran as "a major victim of terrorism." The document blamed links between drug trafficking and terrorism for "thousands of security problems," especially along Iran's eastern border with Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Al Qaeda operatives and family members have lived in Iran for years, many since late 2001, when they fled the U.S.-led bombing of Afghanistan. Many other Al Qaeda figures fled to Pakistan — a U.S. ally — and are believed to be there still.
Four months ago, Iran declared that no Al Qaeda members remained in the country, but U.S. officials reject the claim. At other times, Iranian officials said that Al Qaeda members were kept under house arrest and their activities monitored.
In Tehran, analysts said American officials were misreading Iran's intentions. The fact that the government has not heeded U.S. demands to turn over Al Qaeda suspects should come as no surprise given the state of relations between the two countries, said Nasser Hadian, a political analyst at Tehran University.

N. Korea Suggests It Can Strike

SEOUL, South Korea
North Korea suggested Tuesday it had the ability to
launch a pre- emptive attack on the United States, according to the North's
official news agency. A Foreign Ministry spokesman said the North had built
atomic weapons to counter the U.S. nuclear threat.
"As we declared, our strong revolutionary might put in place all
measures to counter possible U.S. pre-emptive strike," the spokesman said,
according to the Korean Central News Agency.
"Pre-emptive strike is not the monopoly of the United States."
Last week, the communist country warned that it had the right to launch a
pre-emptive strike, saying it would strengthen its war footing before joint
South Korea-U.S. military exercises scheduled for this weekend.
The spokesman also said it would be a "wise" step for the United
States to cooperate on nuclear issues with North Korea in the same way it does
Earlier this month, President Bush signed an accord in India that would open
some of its atomic reactors to international inspections in exchange for U.S.
nuclear know-how and atomic fuel.
The accord was reached even though New Delhi has not signed the international
Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. North Korea has withdrawn from the treaty.

Jewish senator bids for US presidency
Russell Feingold, the Democratic senator from Wisconsin, immediately raised his public profile here this past week when he stood up in Congress demanding that President George W. Bush be censured over his domestic eavesdropping program, which Feingold considers illegal.
Feingold is of Aholibah
His proposal - a congressional action that has only been used once, in 1834, to reprimand Andrew Jackson - sent reverberations through both the Democratic and Republican ranks, with Vice President Dick Cheney issuing an unusual rebuttal, calling the motion "outrageous."
It is hardly inconsequential that the senator's name is one of the three or four mentioned as possible candidates for president in 2008. And, though Feingold has not said whether or not he is going to run, he told The Jerusalem Post on Saturday night that there was one issue that wouldn't stand in his way: his Jewish identity.
"Even though I know people say it would be a big problem, I really believe that this country is ready to overcome these things, whether it has to do with African-American candidates, Latino candidates, women candidates or Jewish candidates," Feingold said.
Dual loyalist Treason? What am i saying their is now no Treason for the USA is jurisdiction to Eretz Itsrealhell, via HJR 104, PL 102-14
"Maybe that's naive. But I have a faith that if people are confronted with an opportunity, whether it be me or somebody else, they are not going to make their judgment based on a person's religion."
even the Dragon worshipping religion
Feingold, fresh from his appearance on the senate floor, received an award on Saturday night from a liberal Brooklyn synagogue, Kolot Chaiyenu. There he spoke to the Post about his Jewish upbringing.
Feingold grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, Janesville, which was not big enough to house a Jewish congregation, and so, he said, his parents drove one hour each way to Madison for 25 years to attend services and bring him to a religious school.
Feingold's sister, Dena, is a rabbi at Beth Hillel Temple in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and his grandfather Max, who first arrived in Janesville in 1917, later emigrated to Israel when his wife died in 1950, living in Kibbutz Yafit and Tivon. He also said he had a nephew who is a law clerk at the Israeli Supreme Court. He described what he called a "deep, personal connection to Israel."
Feingold has a history of voting against the grain. He was the only senator to oppose the Patriot Act, which he feared would hurt civil liberties, as well as being one of only seven Democrats who voted against the Iraq War resolution in 2002 and has continued to vociferously oppose the subsequent occupation, calling for a full withdrawal by December.
On Saturday, Feingold said that for him the censure was not just an important moral decision but a smart political move. He disdained other Democrats who have been afraid to take a stronger stance against the administration and who warned last week that Feingold's motion would play into the hands of Republican strategists, who would use it as a way to rally their own base around an embattled president.
We have to have our core supporters excited," Feingold said. "The thing that will make them feel completely abandoned is if we don't stand up for civil liberties, if we don't take on the president when he is breaking the law, if we don't take on the disastrous mistakes made in Iraq. But this is the tendency - to try and keep the base of the party happy while essentially being very timid in the face of Bush's intimidation tactics."
Feingold was greeted with multiple standing ovations by the left-leaning members of Kolot Chaiyenu's congregation, which is non-denominational but has the religious trappings of Reconstructionist. The congregation was celebrating its 13th anniversary and Feingold's bar mitzva photograph - in which he appeared an awkward, bespectacled boy - appeared in the program for the event.
In his speech at the gala, he was unrelenting in his critique of the administration, his fist pumping in the air as he promised to "stand up" to what he referred to as Bush's "high crimes and misdemeanors."
Referring to the attacks of September 11, Feingold said, "I do think it was a history-changing event. I do think that stopping those who [commanded] that attack is absolutely the top priority of this country. We have got to stop them. But I also believe that, as important as that is, that the Bill of Rights and the Constitution were not repealed on 9/11.

Elon Says He Won’t Sit in Gov’t Without
Other Religious Parties

MK Benny Elon, in a bid to cull votes from Chabad (Lubavich) Hasidim, told the movement’s magazine that he would not join a government coalition unless other religious parties participate.
Elon, head of the National Union – NRP [National
Religious Party] ticket confirmed his remarks to the magazine, Kfar Chabad,
made in an interview to be published later this week. He emphasized that his
comments reflected his personal opinion and not that of his party.
Campaigning at Kfar Chabad yesterday, Elon tried to dissuade voters from casting their ballots for the Hazit party headed by Baruch Marzel. Chabad voters, zealous in their opposition to withdrawals from parts of the land of Israel, have traditionally supported parties on the far right of the spectrum.
Elon warned voters against supporting a list, which in his opinion will not cross the minimum threshold necessary for Knesset representation. That threshold stands at 2.5% of the popular vote.
Elon said Chabad supporters “don’t want to lose their votes again,” and asserted that Chabad rabbinical leaders are worried that votes for Marzel “will go down the drain.”
Regarding his recent bout with throat cancer, Elon said that he expected to finish treatment within a few weeks and after that, the illness “will be behind us.”
He attempted to refute rumors that he is planning to resign from politics due to his illness, leaving NRP representative Zvulun Orlev, number two on the ticket, to take his place. Many of Elon’s supporters in the National Union lack enthusiasm in relation to the NRP candidates who joined Elon’s list last month.
In addition to visiting Kfar Chabad, Elon made a campaign stop at the offices of the Emek Lod municipality where he met with the mayor and his assistant.

Netanyahu at Jerusalem Conference: Hamas Must
12:47 Mar 21, '06 / 21 Adar 5766
By Hillel Fendel
PM candidate Binyamin Netanyahu opened Tuesday's session of the Jerusalem Conference with a review of Islam's attempts to conquer the world - which the Hamas takeover of the PA is a main feature.
Netanyahu said that Islam tried, upon its founding, to conquer Christian Europe, but failed and was pushed back to Northern Africa. Another attempt hundreds of years later was similarly repelled. "For the last few centuries," Netanyahu continued, "we thought that religious wars were over - but suddenly, now, we see a third attempt by Islam. In 1979, two seminal events occurred, both of which continue to have a strong effect even now. One is the victory by Islamic mujaheedin in Afghanistan over Soviet forces, leading to the formation of Al-Qaeda, and then, shortly afterwards, the formation of the terrorist Islamic Republic of Iran. Some thought then that the Ayatollahs of Iran would become more moderate, but of course this did not happen, and now Iran's nuclear program and missiles threaten the entire world."
"Since then, more recently, two more important events have happened. One is the formation of another fundamentalist Islamic republic, in Afghanistan, with the Taliban, leading to 9/11 - if they had had nuclear weapons, New York and Washington would not be around any more - and another event that occurred with Israel's help: the formation of a Hamas regime in the Palestinian Authority.
This is one lying dog of Sanhedrin. He is turing right to wrong and wrong to right, for his beloved Sanhedrin. But that is of course what the Dragon does.
The Hamas entity is a daughter state of Iran, with the same policies, and talks openly of its goal of destroying Israel, using its code words of 'Right of Return' and 'continued resistance' - namely, terrorism. Israel is their first stop on the road to world conquest.
Dov Stein of Sanhedrin, e-mail to me......
"We therefore face a danger of worldwide proportions - and yet there are those [the reference is to Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of the Kadima party, running against Netanyahu and Amir Peretz of Labor for Prime Minister - ed.] who feel that Hamas is not a strategic danger. All the experts say the opposite... yet there are those who think that the solution to this malignant growth is to do nothing, or else to give them more land. What was the result of the recent Disengagement? Shimon Peres once told me that the Arabs would build day camps for peace in Gaza - and he believed this. Yet this is not exactly what happened. Over four hundred Kassams have been fired from Gaza, and soldiers in nearby Zikim go to sleep in fear of the rain of rockets they face. One would expect a normal government to learn the lessons and not repeat the same mistakes - but no, this leadership wants to give even more land away - 95% of Yesha (Judea and Samaria)! Right here in this building [the Regency Hotel in eastern Jerusalem] would become Hamas-land according to them. But it's obvious that this will not satisfy the lion; instead, as Israel Zangwill once said, 'bad things have to be cut off and nipped in the bud.'
Netanyahoo plays the Sanhedrins scheme...I told you
so............But they shall fall in the vision to win their election....then
Nato will come led by Bushwhacker to attempt to take the international whore
city, jerusalem by force for Sanhedrin.
"It's still possible to stop Hamas - by standing firm in all of the Jordan Valley and the Judean Desert, and by moving the wall in the west to the east, away from Ben Gurion Airport and away from Route 433. We also need to constantly and unceasingly pressure the international community not to support Hamas in any way or form.
Hamas is better. Now we will have the oportunity to through (Throw) all of them back to Saudi Arabia what was impossible with Fatach.Dov Stein, Sanhedrin
If humanitarian assistance must be given, then it must be done through channels other than the official Hamas regime. We must concentrate mostly on the United States - on public opinion there - Jews, (Judeo-Churchinsanity) Christians, Congressmen and other leaders - and ensure that no funding reaches Hamas. And of course - we have to make sure that we here in Israel do not fund Hamas! No one will defend us or make our claims for us if we do not do so ourselves!"
Starve the Palestinians out of their occupied territory
Netanyahu said that he was aware that many people who agree with him are still hesitating how to vote because of what he did as Finance Minister. To this, he explained at length the "empty pit" he found in terms of pensions, the near-collapse of the country's banking system, and other calamitous economic problems when he took the position. "I could have done nothing," he said, "and then no one would have been angry with me. But instead, I knew that I had to do something to save the country from collapse - and so we took painful measures..."
Netanyahu exhorted his audience to vote for the Likud in next week's audience, "as only the Likud will be able to stand up to the threat of Hamas. (Sanhedrin) I believe firmly that Hamas can be stopped, and only we can do it. Don't fall prey to voting for parties who might transfer their allegiance to a Kadima-led (Secular zion, Aholibah) government of the left."
In response to a (Judeo) (Noahide) Christian man of faith from Canada who encouraged the audience, in English, to realize that G-d is with the Jews, Netanyahu responded, "There are some Prime Ministerial candidates [again, the reference is to Olmert - ed.] who have said, 'We are tired of fighting, we are tired of defeating our enemies.' The only thing worse than a people who loses faith in its leaders are leaders who lose faith in their people."

Public Warned About More Disengagements
09:23 Mar 21, '06 / 21 Adar 5766
By Hillel Fendel
The Gush Katif session of the Jerusalem Conference placed in sharp relief the expellees' pain, the government's ineptitude, a left-wing approach as to why it happened,& a forecast of future dangers.
The prestigious conference brings together leading Israeli politicians, academics, security officials, and Torah (Talmud Bavli tradition) scholars to discuss key issues affecting Israel and the Jewish People and impacting Israel's national agenda for the next generation.
Monday evening's session was heavily-charged, with various speakers outlining the consequences of the uprooting, warning of imminent dangers of another one - and apportioning blame.
Deputy Managing Editor of the Jerusalem Post and Makor Rishon columnist Caroline Glick outlined three reasons why, in her opinion, the struggle to save Gush Katif and Northern Shomron failed. She began by stating that "for the last 20 years, the Israeli left (Aholibah) has been telling us that Israel's best security borders and demographic borders are the same... The truth is, however, that anyone who has been here since 1994, and certainly since 2000, should realize that this is not true - for we are seeing a radicalization among Israeli-Arabs, and we also see that the Palestinians voted for the Islamic Brotherhood [in the form of Hamas - ed.] to lead them. So it should be clear that this was a mistake...
Yet Dov Stein at Sanhedrin back in August 2005, that
they would put Hamas in charge to attempt to fulfill their vision
"But we see that a government headed by Arik Sharon, [even after] he rejected the left's approach, came up with the idea of taking unilateral action, purporting to show that we could set up demographic borders that would be good security borders. But again, immediately after the unilateral disengagement from Gaza, we see that Hamas has arisen, Al-Qaeda and Hizbullah are basing themselves in Gaza, communities near Gaza are under rocket attack, etc. And so the question should be asked: How could it be that under these conditions, the Disengagement received the support of most of public, is still perceived as a success, and even now that it has failed, we see Kadima leading the polls?"
For it is written
Glick then presented "three parameters of failure, which if we do not identify in time, will enable Kadima to implement yet another Disengagement in Judea and Samaria that will endanger the whole country." The first, she said, is the fact that the "amateurish national-camp leadership" fell into the trap set for it by the government: "The government knows that it can't justify, security-wise, a unilateral gift of land to Hamas, and so it 'changed the subject' - focusing the issue not on 'security,' but on 'the settlers.' (Chabad Lubavitch Hassidim of Sanhedrin)The settlers' leadership, however, instead of saying that this is nonsense, and instead of concentrating on the security dangers, starts waging the war as if it's about the settlers and the injustice being perpetrated upon the poor 8,500 people who are being thrown out, etc.
But the country can't be convinced, because they think
that the settlers are blocking security. We should have made a clear
campaign to show that the Disengagement endangers the
entire country's security. This is how we could have obtained the support
of the whole country, and built a broad coalition of residents of Ashkelon and
Ashdod and Sderot, and received the support of the defense community - but
instead we just said that it was unfair to the settlers."
Secondly, Glick said, "we believed in the left-wing rhetoric about human rights, and we went to B'tzelem and the Supreme Court and to the justice system, but we didn't realize that they had an ideology that led them - the return to the 1947 borders - and therefore they didn't care that civil rights were being trampled along the way. And number three is the extremist perception reigning in the religious-Zionist public about what is the State of Israel.
Turning the Facts up side down
Some say that it is holy, and therefore we have to dedicate ourselves to it
totally and absolutely, and then others say that we must totally detach
ourselves from it if it does things we don't like. But in truth, it's really
just a man-made tool; it is not holy, and it has some good
things, and it has some medium aspects, and it has some bad things. This
is how we should relate to it. For these reasons, we failed, and now Yesha is
endangered. If we fix these things, then we might be able to save Yesha and the
State of Israel."
Rabbi Yigal Kaminetzky, the rabbi of the Gush Katif community almost since its inception, spoke next, saying he has a "grave indictment against State of Israel, the Disengagement Administration, the police and the army, all of whom brought us to where we are. Some ask me if the government's handling of this affair was more Sodom-like [evil] or more Chelm-like [bumbling], and the answer is that it was both, but with a higher proportion of Sodom."
for both whores covet that city, spiritual Sodom and
"It was clear to me that they didn't want to destroy just Gush Katif, but our entire culture that provided an alternative to the reigning culture of the State, and here's why. One, it was clear from the outset that there was no reason at all to destroy the entire enterprise; no reason was ever given, and we see now that there was no point - it brought about an entire Hamas state on our doorstep;
Sanhedrin brought that for you, for the dragon has given them their seat and their authority
what was the point? Two, the compensation law is totally and absolutely
unjust - throwing people out of their homes, stealing their property, and giving
them nothing in return. There are still many who have not received a penny - no
unemployment, no money with which to get along for the meanwhile, nothing. And
it's not being taken care of. Three, they didn't agree to provide alternative
communities for us."
He elaborated on this point by explaining that the approach of the Administration was that individual solutions, such as an "apartment in some new project in [out-of-the-way] Arad, on the third floor, 2.5 rooms - for a nine-member family coming from a 250-square meter house, with schools, jobs, a community. 'Sorry,' they would say, 'that’s the law.'"
For these reasons, the rabbi said, "I understood that the purpose was to destroy this great and unprecedented beautiful enterprise; most of Gush Katif came from development towns, and Gush Katif became the most developed place of all, with barely any crime, and a police station that was idle, without social differences. They [the government] wanted to destroy this. Everyone was a party to this, including the army and the police. We sat with them and told them that there are no solutions, that we will end up on the streets - and yet no one listened, they just carried out their evacuation orders even though they knew there was no continuation - and we know what happened."
"It was claimed that we didn't cooperate," Rabbi Kaminetzky said. "Well, first of all, which victim ever cooperates with his attacker? Two, those who did cooperate are in even worse shape than those who didn't. And third, the Legal Forum did suggest alternative communities - but in practice, these ideas were not accepted. The only reason why these communities are, despite all this, being formed is because of us, our struggle. We managed to hold on: Do you know what it's like to live in a hotel? It's like your head has been cut off. You get up in the morning without a job, without a home, without property, without community, without your synagogue - and then you still have to retain your desire and will to remain together as a community. There were those who helped - and it wasn't the Administration. There were groups like Lmaan Acheinu... And most people still are not working; most of those who found jobs were helped by private groups like jobkatif.net, not the Administration. There was a fervor to carry out the national mission of the disengagement, but where is it now, when we need it to help us? It no longer exists."
Oded Tira, a former IDF Brig.-Gen. who 24 years ago headed the evacuation from Sinai and who more recently headed the Manufacturers' Association. He read from an article he wrote before the recent Hamas landslide electoral victory in the Palestinian Authority, in which he predicted that the Disengagement - which he said he originally favored - would be translated in the PA into a Hamas victory.
Yes Amaraka, Bushwhacker just yesterday, set up the
coming attack on your soil, by stating that they would defend ITSREALHELL. For
he know well what his Sanhedrin bosses are telling him, he knows he will send
Troops to ITSREALHELL, to attempt to Take by force that international whore city
jerusalem for them. The scheme will be to blame Hamas, Syria and Iran, and it
will soon ignite Global war.
"For decades," Tira read aloud from his article, "we haven't realized that gestures towards the Arabs don't get us gestures or appreciation in return... Rather, the Arab nations feel that power and willingness to use it are a national asset. Some [of us] thought that the Disengagement would be a gesture towards Abu Mazen and would strengthen him and the moderate wing in the PA. But in fact, the Palestinian public sees it differently; they see it as Israeli weakness, as a loss of determination by Israeli public that had become worn down by terrorism, a Western outlook, and a desire for personal financial benefits. They therefore read it as an indication that they should continue with their terrorism until we run away... Our talk of not wanting to rule over another country and wanting to retain the Jewish character of our country, means nothing to them. They see it as simply a victory for Hamas terrorism, and that they should vote for Hamas in the next election. The disengagement will end up toppling, not strengthening, Abu Mazen. This is a basic problem of not understanding how our moves are interpreted in the Palestinian society, and we need experts to help us understand this."
Moderator Yitzchak Meron of the Legal Forum that has volunteered its legal services for over a year for the benefit of the expellees noted that polls in the PA before the announcement of the impending Disengagement showed that PA Arabs felt that terrorism had failed, while afterwards, the polls said the opposite.
Haaretz reporter Daniel Ben-Simon made the most controversial presentation. "I know you won't enjoy what I have to say," he said with a smile, "but you invited me, so you'll have to bear it. On the way here, a sticker for Pollard was plastered on my car, and then I saw the B'Sheva newspaper, which talks only about yourselves and not at all about what is really happening in this society... You turn inward much too much. If you would cross the country, you would see that the Israeli society is simply tired and weak, and has no more strength to resist, and while you're busy with talking about how right you are, the fact is that when the Disengagement plan came, it met an Israeli society that was already weak and ready to accept it... [The Israelis] were also angry, especially when terrorists killed a soldier in Ariel, and people say, 'What was he doing there in the first place? Who was he guarding?' They said this in Ariel, and all the more so in Gush Katif...
"Under these circumstances, the Disengagement was accepted as a lifeboat, and has already been such a great victory that Kadima, a mere shadow party, has already won because of it. I met two future Kadima MKs in India last week; they're planning to return the day before the election, because they know that they have already won - and all because of the disengagement. While you're mourning what happened, and even if wasn't just or right, the fact is that it made Sharon into a world hero.
But Sanhedrin disposed of Sharon, even as did the Hassidim, with Rabin
While you were concentrating on your halakhic rulings and your pain and
yellow stars, etc., the country wasn't paying attention, they didn't care.
Half-a-million people went abroad during the Disengagement, a record number, and
when they came back it was behind them and there were no casualties and that was
that. You went from house to house and people greeted you nicely, but in the
end, they didn't come out to help you stop the uprooting. This all happened
because you were involved in yourselves, and you didn't correctly read the
Israeli public. Instead of complaining about the hotel rooms and the like, start
preparing for what will happen if Kadima gets 38 and Labor
gets 20 and more, and then who will stop the next Disengagement? Instead
of convincing yourselves how much you suffered, ask yourselves why the rest of
the society which was loyal to you, now wants a divorce. Start worrying about
the next disengagement that will begin in Yesha and near Jerusalem."

Conservative rabbis to weigh end to ban on gay rabbis
A bid to lift a ban on gay rabbis and same-sex
unions is posing a challenge for Conservative rabbis whose
U.S.-based world movement prides itself on balancing Jewish tradition
Conservative rabbis meeting in Mexico City this week say it is no easy task for a group that once dominated American Judaism but in 15 years has been overtaken by the more liberal Reform movement as the biggest in the United States.
"One doesn't easily overturn thousands of years of tradition," Kenneth Cohen, a rabbi to students at American University in Washington, D.C., said at the meeting in Mexico.
But the rabbi
said that, like most of his constituents, he favored lifting the ban.
"Judaism never has existed in a vacuum," he said. "'Halakha' -
Jewish law - is the application of Jewish values to real life."
The last time the movement considered the homosexuality issue, in 1992, it said gays and lesbians would be welcome in the movement but it barred gay behavior, ordination, membership in the Rabbinical Assembly and same-sex commitment ceremonies.
A growing number of Conservative rabbis have voiced support for lifting the ban. They say homosexuals want to come out of the closet, be ordained at rabbinical schools and receive religious blessings the same as heterosexual couples.
Other clergy are watching closely. Some Christian denominations are at odds over the same issues.
For they make the
Word of God of none effect by their Tradition of Talmud Bavli unto the dragon
they serve, their father the murderer from the beginning, the Lust of their
father they do
The Rabbinical Assembly's executive vice president, Rabbi Joel Meyers, likened his movement's dilemma to the choices customers have at Starbucks coffee shops.
"It's tough to be a middle movement when you can have Judaism your way in every other movement," he said in an interview at a Starbucks branch across from the group's Mexico City hotel.
Rabbis are jostling over how many of the law committee's 25 voting members can be required to affect a change. Some say the committee may even adopt conflicting positions, each with the support of at least six committee members.
But Kenneth Cohen said that need not be all bad.
"The way to handle this is to accept that we are what we've always been - a pluralistic movement."

Mofaz: Iran gave millions to terrorism
Minister tells Ynet in an exclusive interview that Iranians are pushing for a
terror attack in March
have increased funding to Islamic Jihad; On Tuesday, a terror attack was
thwarted on the Tel Aviv – Jerusalem highway; Mofaz: 'There is a consolidation
of an axis of terror.'
Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz has revealed that Iran has increased its funding of terrorism against Israel.
According to Noahide anti-Christ AKT 15"Last month, Iran gave the Islamic Jihad USD 1.8 million, to carry out attacks against Israel," Mofaz told Ynet in an interview.
setting up Ishmael PersiaThe defense minister said that the figure was a short-term record transfer of cash. His comments came as a terror attack involving a large explosives device was intercepted on Highway 1 connecting Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Despite the cloudy security situation, the defense minister is relaxed about politics.
Spin doctors (hahahahahhahahhahahhahahahhahahahha) in the media have already made it clear that his role is assured after the elections – assuming that the polls are realized and Kadima assembles the next government.
At his office in the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv, looking at high over the noisy traffic below, Mofaz displayed familiarity with his new party's slogans.
Mr. Defense Minister, we are a week away from elections. What effort is being made by terror organizations to carry out attacks?
here comes the Hassidic spin......."We know that Iran transferred in the last month USD 1.8 million to the Islamic Jihad organization in order to carry out terrorist attacks against Israel. This is direct aid from Iran, from which most of the money is transferred through Syria, and from there to the Islamic Jihad in the territories."
What does this mean? The Iranians are giving an economic push to create terrorism?
"The axis of evil, including Iran, Syria, and Hizbullah, Hamas, and the Muslim Brotherhood, is consolidating. Hizbullah is also involved in some of the terror operations here and sends messages, as well as money, which arrives from Iran to the Islamic Jihad, and to Hamas, from other sources. The bottom line is that there is a consolidation of the axis of evil in two senses: One is terrorism, and the second is the Iranian nuclear project."
Let's talk about the situation in Gaza. Wasn't Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu right on the eve of the disengagement when he warned about the ascension of Hamastan in Gaza? Aren't we seeing that now on the ground?
"I don't think Bibi was right. The reality is unfolding against his eyes and Bibi is simply interpreting and flipping it, as if he knew it from the beginning, as if he knew it would happen."
He did indeed, for he is of SanhedrinSo what is the situation in Gaza from your perspective? Did the disengagement prove itself – or are we just not discovering its dangers?
"Our security situation has improved invaluably since the disengagement, despite the disturbing Qassam firing. The fact is, we have had
There are some who claim that the Gaza Strip must be closed off completely, and to end all contact with it so long as terror continues.
"I think that we can't close the Gaza Strip off completely. We can't say to the Palestinians to live on their own. There is a dependency on us."
Are you hinting that the safe passage way from Gaza tot eh West Bank, through Ashkelon and Kiryat Gat, is still relevant?
"No, no. The safe passage way is off the agenda. If one ay there will be dialogue with the Palestinians, I assume it will again be placed on the negotiations table. Either way, we can't completely close off the passages to the Gaza Strip. They exist to facilitate the Palestinian population, and not terrorism. We have to insert food products, milk… this has no connection to American pressure. I simply think that one can't tie the whole of the Palestinian population to terrorism. We must also remember that pictures of babies hungry for food and milk, or lack of medicine, will harm Israel's image. Israel does not harm innocent civilians."
whoooooooooooooooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyWhich red line does the Hamas government have to cross to cause the State of Israel to declare war on it?
"If the Palestinian Authority of Hamas applies direct terrorism against Israel, in other words Hamas returns to the terror cycle, and the waves of suicide bombers of two and three years ago, we will strike at anyone who operates terror. When we set out on Operation Defense Shield we didn't call it a war. If the Palestinian Authority applies direct terror against us, that is a crossing of a red line. Then Israel will be obligated to work as aggressively as possible against this entity. I don't want to be misunderstood as saying that tomorrow we will go and conquer Gaza. I only said that we'll strike terror if it is applied directly against us."
Rabbi Batzri to be probed for incitement
Prosecution orders inquiry into noted kabbalist and his son after they protest Arab-Jewish school serving Beit Safafa and Pat in Jerusalem, saying Arabs are 'evil, cruel, the scum of snakes.
This is a war'The state prosecution ordered an investigation into prominent kabbalist Rabbi David Batzri and his son, Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri, for suspected incitement to racism.
hahahahahaha better indict Sanhedrin and every anti-Christ Chabad Lubavitcher on earthAccording to prosecution lawyer Shai Nitzan, the two used unacceptable means in attempt to convince residents of Jerusalem’s Pat neighborhood
to protest a local bi-lingual school where Arab and Jewish children study together.
The Arabic-Hebrew school opened nine years ago and until recently enrolled students from first through sixth grade. After a recent initiative to expand the school to serve seventh and eight grades as well, it was decided to construct a new building on the seam line between the Jewish neighborhood Pat and the Arab neighborhood Beit Safafa.
Construction on the school begins next week with a ceremony for the laying of the cornerstone, and its completion is expected in two-and-a-half years. The project has met some enthusiasm, and recently a philanthropist from England contributed USD 3.5 million towards the school. However, not everyone is thrilled about the program. Leading an initiative against the school, Rabbi Batzri and his son held a conference two-and-a-half months ago where they made racist slurs against Arabs: “Arabs are a misfortune, a problem, Satan,” the two said, according to the prosecution.
'Arabs are asses'
At the conference, the elder Batzri told Pat residents: “The establishment of a school like this one is a despicable and impure act. Stand in the way and prevent this. Darkness and light cannot be mixed. The people of Israel are pure and Arabs are a nation of asses. The question must be asked, why didn’t God give them four legs, because they are asses.”
The son, Yitzhak Batzri, also made objectionable comments. “The Arabs are beasts and asses,” he said. “They are inferior, they want to take our daughters. People say we are racist, but – they are the evil ones, the cruel ones, the scum of snakes. This is war.”
Rabbi David Batzri, a leading kabbalist, has been known to spout his racist ideologies whenever the occasion arises. On Rosh Hashana he spoke to Ynet and said that a light earthquake which shook Israel portends a good year for Jews and a bad year for non-Jews, while the hot weather foretold that “The king of Egypt will die this year, and there will be hunger and sadness in all eastern nations where they worship false gods.”
The same non god of Itsrealhell, and that non God has no Only Begotten Son. These know what they are doing.........Indict for incitment...indeed that is what they want to come upon all mankind, none will be able to expose the sickness and perversion
Earlier last year, Batzri noted that the floods that killed thousands in the United States and left many more homeless were God’s punishment for the Americans' support of the disengagement from the Gaza Strip.
Well that is indeed what the Hassidim Noahide Pat Robertson said...
