Israeli Warplanes Strike in Beirut Again

Jul 14, 8:07 AM (ET)

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - Israeli warplanes punished the Lebanese capital on Friday, blasting the airport for a second day, shattering bridges, igniting fuel storage tanks and cutting the main highway to Syria. Hezbollah guerrillas fought back with a fresh barrage of rockets.

Police said three people were killed and dozens wounded in the airstrikes, raising the death toll to 60 on the third day of Israel's offensive against the Iranian-backed militants.

Israel said it was determined to beat Hezbollah back and deny the militant fighters positions they have held along the border since 2000. Hezbollah began the current conflict Wednesday with a cross-border raid that captured two of Israel's soldiers.

On Thursday Israel imposed a full naval blockade on Lebanon, bombed a main artery and put the airport out of commission, effectively sealing off the country. The assault came after scores of Hezbollah guerrilla rockets that rained down on Israel and reached as far as Haifa, its third-largest city, for the first time.

The sudden burst of violence sent shock waves through a region already traumatized by Iraq and the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas. It shattered the relative calm in Lebanon that followed Israel's pullout from its occupied zone in south Lebanon in 2000 and the withdrawal of Syrian forces last year.

Fears mounted among Arab and European governments that violence in Lebanon could spiral out of control.

The Lebanese government, caught in the middle, pleaded for a cease-fire. The government has no control over Hezbollah, which has a free hand in southern Lebanon and also holds seats in parliament. Any attempt to disarm Hezbollah by force could lead to sectarian conflict.

Widening their campaign, Israeli warplanes struck overpasses, intersections and residential buildings around Hezbollah's security headquarters in south Beirut on Friday. Wall and balconies crashed onto parked cars, but they missed the headquarters, their apparent target.

Lebanese television stations showed broken glass and debris covering streets and a young man with bloodied face and chest walking from a damaged apartment.

Israeli planes also set fire to fuel storage tanks at Beirut airport and at the Jiye power station south of Beirut. They blasted the highway between Beirut and the Syrian capital at several places, forcing people to take mountain side roads to Damascus. Israeli planes also hit TV transmission towers in the eastern Bekaa Valley, a Hezbollah stronghold.

Beirut airport officials said one of their three runways was hit by two Israeli missiles. The airport had been closed since warplanes struck its runways early Thursday, trapping tourists.

Israeli warships, meanwhile, shelled the highway north of the coastal city of Sidon, witnesses said. Israeli planes also hit TV transmission towers in the eastern Bekaa Valley, a Hezbollah stronghold.

Hezbollah militants fired rockets at four settlements and towns in northern Israel, causing no casualties. Some 220,000 Israelis had sought refuge in bomb shelters.

Friday morning's violence came hours after Israel dropped leaflets in the area warning residents to avoid areas where Hezbollah operates.

Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora said President Bush had promised him in a phone call to press Israel to halt its attacks. There was no immediate confirmation of that from the White House.

On Thursday, Bush said backed Israel's right to defend itself and denounced Hezbollah as "a group of terrorists who want to stop the advance of (Noahide ) peace."

But he also expressed worries the Israeli assault could cause the fall of Lebanon's anti-Syrian government. "We're concerned about the fragile democracy in Lebanon," Bush said in Germany.

Israeli analysts warned that Syria, which supports Hezbollah and plays host to Hamas' political leader Khaled Mashaal, could be Israel's next target.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said any Israeli attack against Syria would be an aggression on the whole Islamic world and warned of a harsh reaction, the official Iranian news agency reported Friday.

The agency said Ahmadinejad made the comments in a telephone call to Syrian President Bashar Assad.

Israel's offensive was among its heaviest in Lebanon since it invaded the neighboring country and occupied its capital 24 years ago. Two days of Israeli bombings killed 48 Lebanese and two Kuwaitis and wounded 103. Two Israeli civilians and eight Israeli soldiers have also been killed, the military's highest death toll in four years.

Israel said its attacks were to prevent the movement of the captured soldiers and hamper Hezbollah's military capacity. It said it had information Hezbollah was trying to take the two soldiers to its ally, Iran - an allegation denied by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

Israel launched an offensive in Gaza against Hamas, whose fighters are holding another Israeli soldier captured two weeks ago.

Early Friday, Israeli aircraft struck targets in several parts of Gaza and a Palestinian was killed when an Israeli tank shell struck his truck, officials said. There were no reports of injury in the air raids, which damaged a main road and offices and training camps of militants.

At the United Nations, the United States blocked an Arab-backed resolution that would have demanded Israel halt its military offensive in the Gaza Strip, the first U.N. Security Council veto in nearly two years.

The shockwaves from the fighting on two fronts began to be felt as oil prices surged to above $78 a barrel in world markets, also agitated by the threat of supply disruptions in the Middle East and beyond.

$ 100.00 per BBL soon?

The Arab League called an emergency meeting of foreign ministers in Cairo on Saturday, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas warned that Israel's Lebanon offensive "is raising our fears of a new regional war."

Egypt launched a diplomatic bid to resolve the crisis, amid apparent frustration among moderate Arab nations that Hezbollah - and by implication its top ally Syria - had started the fight with Israel.

Saudi Arabia, the Arab world's political heavyweight and economic powerhouse, accused Hezbollah guerrillas - without naming them - of "uncalculated adventures" that precipitated the latest Middle East crisis.

"The kingdom sees that it is time for those elements to alone shoulder the full responsibility for this irresponsible behavior and that the burden of ending the crisis falls on them alone," according to a Saudi official quoted by the Saudi Press Agency.

Among the Lebanese dead were a family of 10 and another family of seven, killed when strikes hit their homes in the southern village of Dweir.

"It's a massacre," said Abu Talal, a 48-year-old resident who joined scores of Hezbollah supporters and townspeople at the funeral of Shiite cleric Sheik Adel Akkash, who was killed along with his wife and eight children, ages 3 months to 15 years.

"This is the (Israeli) arrogance. The raids aim to terrorize us, but morale is high."

The last time Israeli strikes targeted Beirut was in 2000, when warplanes hit a power station in the hills above the city after a Hezbollah attack killed Israeli soldiers.

Siniora: Bush says Israel will stop

Israel struck Beirut suburbs for the second day and Lebanon’s prime minister said he had President Bush’s assurances civilians would be spared.

wanna beit

Israeli war planes continued to strike airports on Friday and suburbs around Beirut that are strongholds of Hezbollah, two days after gunmen belonging to the terrorist group killed eight soldiers inside Israel and abducted another two. Israel also destroyed the highway to Damascus.

Israel believes Hezbollah is operating with Syrian approval and has promised to continue the attacks until its soldiers are released.

Fouad Siniora, the Lebanese prime minister, said in a statement that he had spoken with Bush. "President Bush affirmed his readiness to put pressure on Israel to limit the damage to Lebanon as a result of the current military action, and to spare civilians from harm," the statement said. The White House confirmed the call.

The attacks have killed 61 Lebanese, including one Hezbollah terrorist. Hezbollah rocket attacks have killed two Israeli civilians.

More than 200,000 Israelis who spent Thursday night in bomb shelters were given the green light to leave for a few hours Friday to shop.

Senate mandates spending Homeland Security funds

The U.S. Senate unanimously passed legislation that would release $25 million in homeland security funds for non-profit groups.

The amendment to the Homeland Security Appropriations bill, sponsored by Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) and Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.), instructs the Homeland Security Department to disburse $25 million in 2006 funds within the next three months.

The department had not disbursed any funds yet, saying they were reserved only for "credible" threats, a standard Jewish groups said was impossible to meet.

The legislation would allow money to be spent on potential threats, and comes a day after Michael Chertoff, the homeland security secretary, told Agudath Israel of America that the policy was a mistake and promised to reverse it.

More than half of the $25 million set aside in 2005 - the first year funds were allocated to non-profits - went to Jewish organizations, mostly for security measures including barriers and gate systems. The United Jewish Communities and the Orthodox Union led lobbying for the funds.

Mikulski and Specter are also working to include $25 million in funds in the 2007 budget

Neo-Nazi sentenced in Canada

A Canadian judge sentenced an unrepentant neo-Nazi to nine months in prison for ignoring an injunction against spreading hate over the Internet.

The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal ruled in April this year that Tomasz Winnicki, of London, Ontario had violated the Canadian Human Rights Act with his posting.

Winnicki, 30, had been enjoined by a federal court against posting his hate-filled messages since last October, when the human rights tribunal first began considering his case.

This month, the tribunal asked the court to consider Winnicki in contempt because his postings had continued.

Winnicki’s postings “have the same vile content and the unrelenting message of hatred for Jews and contempt for people of the Black race and/or immigrants," Justice Konrad von Finckenstein wrote Wednesday in sentencing Winnicki. "He has shown no remorse for his contempt

July 13, 2006

WASHINGTON, July 13 (JTA) — Israel knows whom to blame for starting the conflict now raging on two fronts. The question is whom to call to stop it.

Iran, the main beneficiary of the violence on Israel’s northern border, is remote from the consequences. Khaled Meshaal, the Hamas leader who instigated fighting in Gaza, is safe in Syria. And Syria, Iran and Hamas all are outside the sphere of influence of Israel or its closest ally, the United States.

The likely consequence may be that fighting continues for the foreseeable future.

“This is a major, major escalation,” said Daniel Ayalon, Israel’s ambassador to Washington, interrupting his own press briefing Thursday with news that Katyusha rockets had reached Haifa for the first time ever. In response, Israeli planes targeted areas around Beirut.

In both Lebanon and Gaza, the fighting began with Arab raids into Israeli territory in which some soldiers were killed and others kidnapped.

It began on the Lebanon side, when Israel invaded

Gunmen affiliated with the Hamas terrorist group now governing the Palestinian Authority are still holding Cpl. Gilad Shalit, who was captured June 25. On Wednesday, Hezbollah assailants killed eight Israeli soldiers and abducted reservists Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev.

In both cases, the groups are demanding the release of prisoners, but Israel says it will not negotiate with terrorists.

It was hard to see who could break the impasse. President Bush called on Syria to intervene.

“Syria needs to be held to account,” Bush said in Germany, where he was meeting with Chancellor Angela Merkel.

But of course this is what they have wanted for several years, the perfect flag operation

“Syria’s housing the militant wing of Hamas. Hezbollah has got an active presence in Syria. The truth of the matter is, if we really want this situation to settle down, the soldiers need to be returned and President Assad needs to show some leadership toward peace.”

The problem with such an approach is that Bush cannot make the appeal to Bashar Assad directly, since the United States withdrew its ambassador to Syria last year because of Syria’s unwillingness to secure its border with Iraq and expel Palestinian terrorist groups.

That signals a larger problem, said David Mack, a vice president of the Middle East Institute, a Washington think tank, and a deputy assistant secretary of state in the administrations of President Bush’s father and of President Clinton.

Mack said the Bush administration’s tendency to override regional sensitivities — both in pursuing the Iraq war and in pressing hard for democratization — leaves it vulnerable.

Noahide peace to destroy wonderfully

“The United States is increasingly irrelevant,” he said. “At our own initiative, we threw away any leverage we have in Syria.”

It was left to U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan to dispatch a mediation team to the region. In previous Israel-Lebanon crises, U.S. envoys had taken the lead.

Even with the right incentive, it’s not clear how much Syria could do: Its leverage in Lebanon has decreased considerably since it withdrew occupying forces a year ago under international pressure.

The resulting vacuum was ripe for exploitation by Iran, which is feeling increasingly cornered by the international community’s attempts to stop its nuclear program, said Shlomo Aronson, a political science professor at Hebrew University.

“The whole thing coincided with the recent pressure on the Iranian regime with regard to its nuclear program,” Aronson said. “The Iranians through Hezbollah are warning that if pressure is being put on them, they can bring the Middle East to an explosion. And they are losing nothing, not paying one iota for their behavior.”

World powers had set Wednesday as a deadline for Iran to respond to economic and development incentives to open its nuclear program to inspectors, or face the likelihood of sanctions. When the deadline passed, the powers — the United States, Russia, Britain, France, Germany and China — referred Iran to the U.N. Security Council for possible sanctions.

the set up

Iran is Hezbollah’s principal backer and reportedly helped the terrorist group develop the longer-range rockets that now have reached Haifa, 20 miles from the Lebanese border. Israel also is concerned that Hezbollah will spirit Goldwasser and Regev away to Iran.

The timing was exquisite from Iran’s point of view: Bush is to join other leaders of industrialized nations this weekend in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Iran’s nuclear development was on the agenda. Hezbollah’s attack now clouds the issue.

Aronson said he didn’t believe Israel would take the conflict to Syria or Iran because it risked an uncontrollable escalation.

One of them now certainly will be "Forced" by falsehood to stage a False Flag operation, blaming Syria and implicating Iran for the final conflagration. The entire world is no poised in position to support one or the other of the Two Whores

and one by ITSREALHELL (Zohar of Baa'l's minions)

Israel’s actions were aimed at forcing Lebanon’s government, led by Fouad Siniora, to implement U.N. Security Council resolutions requiring it to disarm Hezbollah and exercise control in the southern part of the country.

“Take responsibility as a country,” Maj. Gen Uri Adam, the Israel Defense Forces’ northern commander, said in a press conference near the border.

That might not be realistic, given the fragility of Siniora’s government and the fact that it includes Hezbollah Cabinet ministers.

Bush, for his part, is invested in the viability of a Lebanese government that can function without Syria.

Whatever Israel does “should not weaken the Siniora government in Lebanon,” Bush said. “We’re concerned about the fragile (Noahide anti-Christ)  democracy in Lebanon.”

Democrats in Congress signaled that they would resist pressures on Israel to end its attack.

“Israel has an inherent right to defend itself, and the United States supports our ally,” said a joint statement from Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)., the U.S. House of Representatives’ minority leader, and Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), the minority whip.

For now, Israel’s actions were uniting Lebanese behind Hezbollah, said Bassel Salloukh, an assistant professor of political science at the American University in Beirut.

“I don’t see any pressure in Lebanon to hand over the soldiers,” he said. “Even figures like Walid Jumblatt,” the Druse (Noahide)  leader who has called for Hezbollah to disarm, “are coming out and saying we need to close ranks now that there are foreign forces in Lebanon.”

Further down the line, though, there may be political repercussions for Hezbollah, Salloukh said.

“Hezbollah has a lot of questions to answer about the timing of the operation,” he said, noting the fragility of Siniora’s coaliton. “In their constituency in Lebanon, they have not lost credibility. With others, it’s another story — but Hezbollah may not care.”

Jewish groups launch ‘full-court press´
to support Israel´s retaliatory strikes

July 13, 2006

PHILADELPHIA, July 13 (JTA) — The American Jewish community is mobilizing on several fronts to assert Israel’s right to defend itself in the face of increasingly bold Arab attacks.

As Hezbollah rockets rained down on northern Israel and the Israel Defense Forces launched fresh attacks in Lebanon, American Jewish organizations were stressing the complicity of both Iran and Syria in the escalation.

They were also urging world leaders to condemn the offensives, praising President Bush for his quick statement of support for Israeli actions, and pointing out that the attacks — both from the Gaza Strip in the South and Lebanon in the North — were emanating from areas Israel has already evacuated.

Dan Bushwhacker's Chabad Birthday present

"spoof of the day"

Within hours of Wednesday’s news that the Lebanese militia Hezbollah had killed eight Israeli troops along the northern border and kidnapped two more, a flurry of news releases from American Jewish organizations went out almost simultaneously in support of Israel.

Jewish leaders had consulted privately in recent weeks over how to respond to Israel’s military actions in Gaza following the late June abduction of Cpl. Gilad Shalit and the killing of two other soldiers near the Gaza Strip border.

But with Hezbollah’s brazen action across the Lebanese border, Jewish groups sprung into action.

“It’s important to show solidarity, so that our elected officials see that across the board, American Jews are standing with Israel,” said Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. “Overall, I’m finding that there is a unanimity in support of Israel.”

It is our duty to force all mankind to accept the seven Noahide laws, and if not -- they will be killed." Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg

Immediately, groups began reaching out to international contacts to shore up support for a tough Israeli response. By Thursday morning, the second event this month calling for the release of kidnapped soldiers and asserting Israel’s right to self-defense had been scheduled for the streets of midtown Manhattan, this one on July 17.

“We are in a full-court diplomatic press,” said David Harris, executive director of the American Jewish Committee. “The entire agency has been mobilized, there have already been individual telephone conversations and face-to-face meetings with several presidents, a couple of foreign ministers and a number of ambassadors” stationed both in the United States and abroad.

“The reaction to those conversations has ranged from very supportive and understanding to moderately so,” Harris added.

He declined to specify with which nations his group had been in contact, although he said they were in Eastern and Western Europe, South America and sub-Saharan Africa. They were approached, he said, with an eye toward influencing members of key United Nations committees that “might be in a position to vote on matters of the Middle East.”

The United States on Thursday vetoed a Qatari-sponsored resolution at the U.N. Security Council calling for an immediate Israeli withdrawal from Gaza as well as the release of Shalit. Israel had sent a letter to Secretary-General Kofi Annan on Wednesday, and had been in touch with Security Council members, hoping to avoid having to rely on a U.S. veto.

Sources within the United Nations said that France, which currently holds the rotating presidency of the Security Council, had been considering a presidential statement on the conflict, but that the idea went nowhere due to opposition from the United States and Israel, which were concerned the statement would try to achieve balance, equating the actions of both sides to the conflict.

In light of Hezbollah’s attack, the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, which is organizing the July 17 event, is highlighting Lebanese non-compliance with U.N. resolution 1559, which calls for Hezbollah’s dissolution. The group also has urged its members to write letters to the White House and to members of Congress pressing both to fully implement the Syria Accountability Act, which mandates imposition of economic sanctions on Damascus should it not halt its sponsorship of terrorist organizations, among other actions.

The group has further suggested that its members lobby the G8 industrial countries, whose leaders are meeting in Russia starting July 15, along with foreign ministers from the European Union, who will convene following the G8 summit.

Both the Conference of Presidents and the AJCommittee have scheduled solidarity missions to Israel for next week.

The Anti-Defamation League has taken out four ads to run this weekend in the International Herald Tribune, targeted at European leaders attending the G8 conference.

Europe is “the soft underbelly of support for Israel to do what it needs to do,” said the ADL’s national director, Abraham Foxman. “The U.S. is there — Europe is not. Europe is wavering. Europe is talking out of all sides of its mouth. They say the soldiers should be released, but Israel is overreacting.”

Foxman said he had just approved another ad to run in an American paper, thanking Bush for his support. On Thursday, Bush said Israel had the right to defend itself, blaming Hezbollah for the violence and calling for Syria to be held accountable for supporting the Lebanese militia.

Several other prominent Jewish groups issued statements in support of Israel, including Hadassah (Esther the Whore of Purim murder)  and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs.

Some of the Jewish groups’ talking points were echoed on Thursday in a Washington program that included speakers from the U.S. House of Representatives and Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Daniel Ayalon.

“The reason we see now this deterioration is because of a premeditated attack or strategy that, unfortunately, is being concocted in Damascus and in Tehran,” Ayalon said at a Israel Project-sponsored forum at the National Press Club.

they are pressing hard for their final wars unto desolation

Iran, he said, is attempting to impose its influence on the Middle East and to divert attention from its “feverish” pursuit of nuclear weapons.

If the Islamic republic is successful, he said, “then no one, but no one on this globe is safe.”

so murder them in advance, Global Collective Purim

AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobby, said it is focusing its efforts on Washington’s halls of power.

“The U.S. government is galvanized in support of Israel and AIPAC is working with both Congress and the administration to express and affirm their support for Israel’s right to defend itself against these unprovoked acts of aggression,” said spokeswoman Jennifer Cannata.

sheesh, all the while the Dragon worshippers murder wonderfully

A host of Jewish and non-Jewish members of Congress have issued statements in support of Israel. Among them are Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.); Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.); Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.); Gene Green (D-Texas); Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.); Gary Ackerman (D-N.Y.); Brad Sherman (D-Calif.), and Robert Wexler (D-Fla.).

Two parties of the same Beast

“I call on the U.N. Security Council to condemn this horrific attack, demand Lebanon’s disarmament of Hezbollah, and send a clear message to the Lebanese government that it must fill the security vacuum on its border with Israel,” Wexler said in a statement.

The Reform movement, for its part, defended Israel’s right to defend itself, while calling on Israel in a statement “to do everything possible to assure that basic civilian needs, including electricity and water, in Gaza and elsewhere, are met.”

“Jewishly and politically, that’s an important point to note,” Rabbi Eric Yoffie, president of the Union for Reform Judaism, told JTA. “Beyond that we, I assume, pretty much stand with the broader community and we want our people to rally to Israel’s side.”

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Gunmen killed the coach of Iraq’s national wrestling team in a botched abduction attempt Thursday but a player escaped, police said.

The attackers grabbed the coach, Mohammed Karim Abid Sahib, and one of his players as they left the sports center in the northern neighborhood of Kazamiyah, where the team was preparing to leave Friday for a tournament in the United Arab Emirates.

Both men tried to flee, but Sahib was shot to death during the attempt, police Capt. Mohammed al-Waili said. The player escaped and informed authorities about the attack, but his name wasn’t immediately available.

Iraqi wrestling federation chief Abdul Karim Hamid confirmed the death and said Sahib’s body had been returned to his family. The victims were Sunni Arabs from the nearby neighborhood of Azamiyah.

The authorities said Sahib and the player had left the sports center to buy sweets to take as gifts on their trip.

The Talmidi are Wailing For Tammuz

there is no New World Odor, for it is very Old and it is Mystery Babylon, and they serve the Dragon

The Month of Tamuz
According to Sefer Yetzirah

According to Sefer Yetzirah, each month of the Jewish year has a letter of the Hebrew alphabet, a zodiac sign, one of the twelve tribes of Israel, a sense, and a controlling limb of the body that correspond to it.

Tamuz is the fourth of the twelve months of the Jewish calendar.

The month of Tamuz begins the "season" (tekufah) of the summer. The three months of this season, Tamuz, Av and Elul, correspond to the three tribes of the camp of Reuben--Reuben, Simeon and Gad--who were situated to the south).

Tamuz is the month of the sin of the golden calf, which resulted in the breaking of the Tablets. On that very day, the 17th of Tamuz, begins the three week period (ending on the 9th of Av) which commemorates the destruction of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

The Temple of Abomination that God of Heaven Destroyed

This is the month that the spies sent by Moses traveled through the land of Israel to see it and report to the people. (They returned on the eve of the 9th of Av).

Letter: chet.

The form of the letter chet is composed of the two previous letters of the Hebrew alef-beit, the vav and the zayin (corresponding to the two previous months of Iyar and Sivan) connected from above by a thin "bridge." In relation to the sense of sight, the form of the chet represents the dynamic of spiritual light being emitted from the eyes (the vav) and physical light returning from the object observed, to the eyes (the zayin).

The word Tamuz reads in Hebrew: "tam"--"connect together," "consummate"--vav zayin?the two letters that together form the chet.

Mazal: sartan (Cancer--crab).

One of the meanings of the root of sartan, seret, is a visual "strip," in general, or (as in modern Hebrew) a "film" strip in particular.

The spiritual sense of sight of Tamuz is the ability to "see through" physical reality to behold its Divine source. In accordance with this thought, the word sartan is understood as being composed of two words--sar tan--which literally reads: "remove the body" (in order to reveal the soul), i.e. remove the outer "shell" of reality (by means of the power of concentrated sight) in order to reveal reality's inner "fruit" and lifeforce.

Tribe: Reuben.

The name Reuben comes from the root "to see," the sense of Tamuz.

The precious stone of Reuben in the breast-plate of the high priest is the odem, the ruby (from Reuben), which due to its brilliant red color (odem means red) is the most sensually visible of the stones.

Red is the most seductive of all colors, implying either the fall of man (in Hebrew odem [red] has the same spelling as adam [man]), as in the sin of the golden calf, or the ultimate rise and rectification of man, with the coming of Mashiach.

The chief RED Edomite of the beast Sanhedrin unto the Dragon they serve

Sense: sight.

The summer (the period of Tamuz) is the "holiday" of the eyes. It is the time that one must "guard" his eyes to see only that which is good (in the world in general and in his fellow man in particular) and modest. The ability to guard and focus one's eyesight correctly is the rectified "sense" of sight.

"On to Iran" they cry

Jn:8:44: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Battle Plans

The next Middle East war--Israel against genocidal Islamism--has begun.

"It is our duty to force all mankind to accept the seven Noahide laws, and if not -- they will be killed." Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg

The first stage of the war started two weeks ago, with the Israeli incursion into Gaza in response to the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier (Bait)  and the ongoing shelling of Israeli towns and kibbutzim; ("Lob those missiles on the proles, the "lesser Brethren")  now, with Hezbollah's latest attack, the war has spread to southern Lebanon. Ultimately, though, Israel's antagonists won't be Hamas and Hezbollah but their patrons, Iran and Syria. The war will go on for months, perhaps several years. There may be lulls in the fighting, perhaps even temporary agreements and prisoner exchanges. But those periods of calm will be mere respites.

Dan. 9:26: And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27: And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The goals of the war should be the destruction of the Hamas regime and the dismantling of the Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon. Israel cannot coexist with Iranian proxies pressing in on its borders. In particular, allowing Hamas to remain in power--and to run the Palestinian educational system--will mean the end of hopes for Arab-Israeli reconciliation not only in this generation but in the next one too.

The fact that the kidnappings and missile attacks have come from southern Lebanon and Gaza--precisely the areas from which Israel has unilaterally withdrawn--is proof, for right-wingers, of the bankruptcy of unilateralism. Yet the right has always misunderstood the meaning of unilateral withdrawal. Those of us who have supported unilateralism didn't expect a quiet border in return for our withdrawal but simply the creation of a border from which we could more vigorously defend ourselves, with greater domestic consensus and international understanding. The anticipated outcome, then, wasn't an illusory peace but a more effective way to fight the war. The question wasn't whether Hamas or Hezbollah would forswear aggression but whether Israel would act with appropriate vigor to their continued aggression.

So it wasn't the rocket attacks that were a blow to the unilateralist camp, but rather Israel's tepid responses to those attacks. If unilateralists made a mistake, it was in believing our political leaders--including Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert--when they promised a policy of zero tolerance against any attacks emanating from Gaza after Israel's withdrawal. That policy was not implemented--until two weeks ago. Now, belatedly, the Olmert government is trying to regain something of its lost credibility, and that is the real meaning of this initial phase of the war, both in Gaza and in Lebanon.

Still, many in Israel believe that, even now, the government is acting with excessive restraint. One centrist friend of mine, an Olmert voter, said to me, "If we had assassinated [Hamas leader] Haniyeh after the first kidnapping, [Hezbollah leader] Nasrallah would have thought twice about ordering another kidnapping." Israel, then, isn't paying for the failure of unilateral withdrawal, but for the failure to fulfill its promise to seriously respond to provocations after withdrawal.

Absurdly, despite Israel's withdrawal to the international borders with Lebanon and Gaza, much of the international community still sees the kidnapping of Israeli soldiers as a legitimate act of war: Just as Israel holds Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners, so Hamas and Hezbollah now hold Israeli prisoners. One difference, though, is that inmates in Israeli jails receive visits from family and Red Cross representatives, while Israeli prisoners in Gaza and Lebanon disappear into oblivion. Like Israeli pilot Ron Arad, who was captured by Hezbollah 20 years ago, then sold to Iran, and whose fate has never been determined. That is one reason why Israelis are so maddened by the kidnapping of their soldiers.

Another reason is the nature of the crimes committed by the prisoners whose release is being demanded by Hezbollah and Hamas. One of them is Samir Kuntar, a PLO terrorist who in 1979 broke into an apartment in the northern Israeli town of Nahariya, took a father and child hostage, and smashed the child's head against a rock. In the Palestinian Authority, Kuntar is considered a hero, a role model for Palestinian children.

The ultimate threat, though, isn't Hezbollah or Hamas but Iran. And as Iran draws closer to nuclear capability--which the Israeli intelligence community believes could happen this year--an Israeli-Iranian showdown becomes increasingly likely.

Bushwhacker's Dan Sanhedrin beast counts on this, for then Bushwhacker can "Protect the bloody whore city jerusalem, but she is not for him, and is reserved BY GOD for the "Robber" the murderer that they wail for

Acts:3:14: But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

According to a very senior military source with whom I've spoken, Israel is still hoping that an international effort will stop a nuclear Iran; if that fails, then Israel is hoping for an American attack. But if the Bush administration is too weakened to take on Iran, then, as a last resort, Israel will have to act unilaterally. And, added the source, Israel has the operational capability to do so.

For Israelis, that is the worst scenario of all. Except, of course, the scenario of nuclear weapons in the hands of the patron state of Hezbollah and Hamas.

Israel continues air assault on Gaza

Adel Zaanoun | Gaza City, Gaza

Israel pressed on with its air assault on Gaza on Friday in a bid to retrieve a soldier abducted nearly three weeks ago and stop rocket attacks but troops withdrew from the centre of the territory.

The continued offensive came as the United States vetoed a United Nations resolution calling on Israel to halt its military operations in Gaza, as the Security Council prepared for an emergency debate on escalating violence in Lebanon.

The air force carried out at least two overnight raids, while ground artillery and naval gunboats pounded the Palestinian territory north and south, as part of campaign to secure the release of Corporal Gilad Shalit.

One raid struck the house of an MP for the governing Palestinian movement Hamas, whose administration has been directly targeted in the offensive, in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, and a bridge in central part of the territory.

The army confirmed the attack on the bridge and an aerial attack on a Hamas office in Gaza City, and said artillery from ground and naval gunboats had bombarded the northern and southern parts of the territory.

At least 76 Palestinians and one Israeli soldier have now been killed since Israel stepped up a ground assault on Gaza July 5 in a bid to retrieve Shalit, snatched in a commando raid on June 25, and stop Palestinian rocket attacks.

Four rockets fired from Gaza exploded in the southern Israeli town of Sderot on Friday but caused no damage or any casualties, the military said.

The latest Palestinian to die was killed late on Thursday when a tank fired a shell at a vehicle moving towards Israeli forces stationed in the Qarara in the southern Gaza Strip.

But tanks and armoured jeeps positioned on a north-south road in the central Gaza Strip near the Deir al-Balah refugee camp and the town of Khan Yunis withdrew from the area Friday, witnesses and the army said.

"I can confirm that they have withdrawn from the central Gaza Strip. They've completed their mission there," an army spokesperson said.

She said the only place where Israeli ground forces remain in the territory is in Dahaniya, in the south, near Gaza's former international airport that was destroyed by the army after the second Palestinian uprising erupted.

The move came after Israel's chief ally the United States vetoed a UN resolution urging Israel to halt military operations in Gaza, condemning the assault and calling for the immediate withdrawal from troops.

US Ambassador John Bolton (jew)  said the veto was because of the "unbalanced" nature of the draft text which he argued laid a disproportionate amount of blame on Israel for the current crisis in the region. The text had also condemned the firing of rockets from Gaza into Israel and Shalit's abduction.

What has become the worst Israeli-Palestinian crisis in months was sparked when the 19-year-old (Bait) was snatched by Palestinian militants, including members of the armed wing of Hamas, on the Gaza border.

Faced with twin Israeli offensives in Gaza and Lebanon, following Wednesday's abduction of two soldiers by Hezbollah, Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas issued a stark warning against the eruption of "regional war".

Shalit's captors have, like Hezbollah, demanded the release of prisoners in exchange for their hostage.

But Israel has refused any talks with the Islamist movement that advocates the destruction of the Jewish state, or engage in a prisoner swap, vowing the assault will continue "in places, in time, in measures" at its convenience.

Aid groups have expressed concern about the difficulties of providing assistance to 1,4-million people living in Gaza following months of financial crisis and the suspension of direct Western aid to the Hamas-led government. - AFP

US veto in the UN Security Council authorizes Israel to continue killing

(Nablus) Palestine News Network 14 July 06

The United States vetoed the draft law presented by the small Gulf nation of Qatar to the United Nations Security Council. It called on Israel to stop its aggression against the Palestinian people and release Palestinian government officials from Israeli jails.

The draft also called on Palestinians to release the captured Israeli soldier. By exercising its veto power in the case of itself and Israel, America expressed its consent for all of the criminal practices perpetrated by the Israeli government.

The People’s Party said Friday that the Security Council should act against Israel to stop the unjust aggression on the Palestinian people and respect the rules of international humanitarian law, including the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, issued in 1949. It also stated that Israeli must refrain from using violence against the civilian population.

In at statement the Palestinian political party emphasized that the Security Council's silence on Israeli crimes demeans the Security Council’s credibility. “It proves that it is not neutral in dealing with current events in the world, particularly in the case of Israel.” The tiny occupying nation Is second only to the US in contravening international law.

Israeli military tanks moving through northern West Bank city of Nablus ready to hit southern Lebanon

(Nablus) Amin Abu Wardeh 14 July 06

Eyewitnesses in the northern West Bank reported Friday morning that the Israeli military movements were closely noted throughout yesterday and overnight in the city’s camps. Israeli military tanks are moving through Nablus City, ready to hit southern Lebanon.

The tanks are coming through in correlation to attacks on southern Lebanon, while at the same time the Israeli operation against the Gaza Strip continues.

Taxi drivers with routes that pass occupying military camps reported that large Israeli military trucks are at the ready in the heart of occupied Palestine on the road the Israelis call Samaria II.

However the tanks and APCs are not on the ready to attack Nablus, but this time Lebanon.

Israeli jets hit Palestinian Foreign Ministry

Israeli warplanes bombed the Palestinian Foreign Ministry in Gaza Thursday, causing heavy damage and wounding 10 children, ratcheting up the pressure on the government over an abducted soldier. Warplanes fired two missiles into the building, targeting Foreign Minister Mahmoud al-Zahhar's offices and causing serious damage to the recently renovated five-story building, the neighboring Finance Ministry and 15 nearby houses.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas had met an Israeli intelligence chief earlier this week in Amman to try to resolve the crisis over the soldier and the Jewish state's military response in the Gaza Strip, a security source said.

The sources said the meeting between Abbas and Yuval Diskin, head of Israel's domestic intelligence service Shin Bet, took place on Tuesday in Amman, where the Palestinian president was being hosted by Jordan's King Abdullah.

Abbas' office declined comment in whether a meeting took place. An Israeli official said the Shin Bet does not publish Diskin's schedule.

"They discussed the crisis over the abducted soldier and concerns about the rocket fire from Gaza and the West Bank," one of the security sources said. They did not say what came out of the meeting.

Zahhar condemned the attack on his minister and the killing of civilians in Israeli air strikes as the Cabinet gathered after the bombing.

"Everybody here is wanted by Israel, everybody is a target, every house is a target and every tree is a target. This is the destructive system built in what is called Israel," Zahhar said at the site of his ruined offices.

Ten children, including babies aged four and six months old, who lived in nearby homes badly damaged in the powerful blast, were wounded in the Foreign Ministry attack, witnesses and doctors at Gaza City's Al-Shifa Hospital said. Rescue workers battled to control the fire that raged after the air strike.

In the latest fallout from Israel's siege, a 26-year-old Palestinian woman suffering from cancer died at the Egypt-Gaza border after waiting for the crossing to open for two weeks, a medical report said Thursday.

Fatima Sedqi Abdeen died Wednesday immediately after an ambulance rushed her to a nearby hospital, said the report obtained by The Associated Press. She had apparently run out of money and could not return to Cairo for chemotherapy.

Israel killed at least 24 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, including nine members of one family in an air strike that destroyed a house where the army said senior commanders from the Hamas armed wing were meeting.

Zahhar is one of the government's most prominent ministers and a long-time Hamas leader who has become the face abroad of the Palestinian administration, desperately trying to drum up funds abroad for his Western-boycotted Cabinet.

"These offices serve one of the most extreme leaders of the Hamas terror organization," Israeli Army spokeswoman Captain Noa Meir told AFP.

"We condemn all Israeli aggressions, including those against the Foreign Ministry and Palestinian civilians," Zahhar said. - Agencies

Katyusha Rockets Landing in Tzfat at This Time
19:02 Jul 14, '06 / 18 Tammuz 5766

( Katyusha rockets are slamming into Tzfat at this time. It is unknown if there are injuries as police, ambulances and firefighters respond.

Over 800 Katyusha rockets and mortar shells have been fired into Israel since Thursday morning, IDF officials report.

War - Beyn HaMeitzarim 5766

Mt:23:8: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

As Gaza continues to simmer, now Israel's northern border has flared up. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is calling the terrorist aggression of kidnapping two more Israeli soldiers an act of war by Lebanon. In addition, in the news, there are reports posted on that Arab Katyusha rockets are ready in Judea to be fired on the major population centers in central Israel.

Sounds so ominous and terrible. So, what else is new? Welcome to Beyn HaMeitzarim 5766.

Here we are at the beginning of the Three Weeks, the period commemorating the devastation and destruction suffered by the Jewish people in the past.

The LORD GOD who sent them unto all the ends of the earth for their Abominations, Dig into the Wall Ezekiel Chapter 8

Now, as we enter into the period of time that has always brought bad things upon the Jewish people, war is being thrust upon us by a hate-filled anti-Semitic enemy that will only stop once we are all dead.

"It is our duty to force all mankind to accept the seven Noahide laws, and if not -- they will be killed." Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg

And you thought Nazism ended with World War II. Welcome, my dear readers, to WWIII. But it did not begin now; it has been going on undeclared for some time, at least since 9/11/2001.

Prime Minister Olmert was elected on a platform to surrender more of ancestral Israel to the Arabs, enabling them to, on their own, create a so-called Palestinian State. Apparently, his plans are being interrupted. Apparently, Heaven has other plans for Mr. Olmert and Israel. It would be nice to believe that the Israeli government is paying attention to the subtle, but forceful, prodding of Heaven, but I bear no such illusions; nonetheless, time will tell.

You must understand, our enemies are not stupid. Guided as they are by their hatred of us, they are not pursuing their military goals haphazardly. They are moving with the caution and care of precision military psychological warfare. They know that they cannot win this war against the Jews by fighting like lions, so instead they choose a subtle, more devious way and fight instead like the snake or scorpion. Both of these lethal animals stay close to the ground to avoid detection and then strike under foot. They move with stealth, are hard to detect, and suddenly without warning, they can strike quickly and with lethal effectiveness.

There is an age-old lesson taught in the Arts of War: "Only one who knows how to fight an enemy's methods stands a chance of defeating the enemy. One who does not meet the enemy on the enemy's playing field will miss the enemy altogether and enable the enemy to strike and win."

This is a basic rule of all military engagements. Mr. Olmert certainly has been taught this somewhere along the line by his military advisors and generals. Yet, knowing what needs to be done and then doing it, as we have long seen, are often two entirely different things. Let us watch not what Mr. Olmert says, but rather what he does. The PM is fast learning that talk is cheap, and that bombing empty buildings in Gaza, while looking great for the media, does absolutely nothing to better a growing crisis.

Now, Mr. Olmert has a two front war. Soon it will be three fronts. Will he respond with the necessary lethal forces to defeat Israel's enemies and send then running? I guarantee you that this will not happen.

Jn:8:44: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Mr. Olmert and the present Israeli leadership are far too weak to act effectively. They have no courage, no morale, and no willingness to fight. They only want to do the smallest amount necessary to return to a status quo of an illusionary peace. With that, they are happy. This overwhelming desire for complacency reminds me of the drug addict, who only lives to get his next fix and, once high again, forgets about everything else.

setting up the mandate of the people to cry out for Sanhedrin Rule under that false Christ Moshiach

Well, maybe this time Mr. Olmert will have to face his addiction to illusionary peace. Maybe this time Heaven
(Pharisaic Hassidic self exalted gods)
has other plans in store for Mr. Olmert that will force him into acting in a way that will not allow him to continue in his drug-like trance of believing illusions and idiocy. Maybe this time, everything is going to explode in his face. And all the European and American horses and all of their men will not be able to save this Humpty Dumpty again.

We are entering the Three Weeks.

Wailing for Tammuz

History has recorded their influence and effect upon greater Israel and the Jewish people. Here we are again. War clouds are not brooding; they have already exploded, bringing their storm upon us. Will Mr. Olmert try to hide under his umbrella of illusionary peace and restrained responses? He is too weak to do anything else.

Yes, the Three Weeks are just beginning. Twenty-one days is a long time. A lot can happen over the next three weeks. Rest assured, indeed, a lot will happen. But regardless of what happens, however bad things appear, always remember and never forget: it is HaShem
(Dragon) who is King,(Abaddon)
even over mighty America and the Dark Lords of Europe.

I know war is coming and great upheaval is inevitable. The sages of Torah
(Prophets of Baa'l of Talmud Bavli)
have tried to warn the world of this for a long time. The hostile world has long been warned to mend their ways, not for the sake of Heaven alone, but also for our own sake.

without the Redeemer, Jesus they cry peace peace and there shall be no peace but sudden destruction

However, all our Torah
words of wisdom (Foolish fables)  and warning, morals and mission, have usually fallen on deaf ears. After all, how long can one cry out and try to awaken a sleeping driver behind the wheel of a run-away car before the car is about to go over the cliff? We can cry and scream, yet once the car begins to go over the cliff, waking up too late is not really going to help.

If PM Olmert wishes to be the sleeping driver of the out-of-control vehicle heading over the cliff, so be it. Then, there is nothing more to say. No more warnings to be given. The festering sore of evil that is terrorism, anti-Semitism and continuing attacks against Israel and Jews will not go away.

There will be no peace. There will be no status quo of illusionary peace. There will be no more illusions at all.

Welcome to war, world of sleepers. War has a terrible way of awakening even those who slumber deep. Ask those who take the trains in India.

Maybe if Mr. Olmert wakes up and smiles upon Heaven, Heaven will in turn smile upon him. Unfortunately, I am a pessimist, I do not believe Mr. Olmert can or will do the right thing. I do not believe he knows the difference between right and wrong.

Again, let us remember, it is ultimately HaShem
that has brought war to Israel. And because it is HaShem's hand that is guiding everything, we have nothing to fear.

Hashem is not the WORD the Creator the IAM they deny for the murderer from the beginning

HaShem is with us and,  "Surely goodness and mercy shall pursue us." They will eventually catch up with us, if we only slow down from running away and let them catch up. HaShem
is in charge and, as the Scottish poet Robert Burns once wrote, "The best laid plans of mice and men oft go awry."  "Many are thoughts in the minds of men, but it is the counsel of HaShem (Dragon substituted for the Creator) that shall arise [and dominate]."

Therefore, nations of the world and Mr. Olmert their servant, do as you will, try as you may. Let us see you get out of this one.

Yitkadal v'yitkadash shemey rabbah - The Great Name shall be exalted and sanctified.

But that Name is not the Name above every name, Jesus who is Christ the Lord

Pray for the safety of our soldiers. May they have the courage of lions and the safety of eagle's wings. May G-d watch over them and protect them. Amen.

By your Talmudic Noahide anti-Christ false peace scheme, you now see utter destruction befall you planet apostate earth

Peace Now: Israeli Government Supports Judaisation of Jerusalem Plan

JERUSALEM, May 23, 2006, (WAFA)- An anti-Occupation Israeli organisation revealed that the Israeli Government supports a plan of judaisation of Jerusalem.

In a new report issued recently the "Peace Now" movement said that in recent months Israel has begun allowing the most extremist Jewish settlers to take control of some of the most highly contested areas of Jerusalem.

Chabad Lubavitch of Sanhedrin of Dan the Red Edomites

The report produced by Lara Friedman, Government Relations Director, Americans for Peace Now (USA), with the assistance of Daniel Seidemann, Ir Amim (Jerusalem), Peace Now said.

The report begins by talking about the role of the Israeli Municipality of Jerusalem in the plan. It says that the Jerusalem municipality wants to demolish Palestinian homes in the al Bustan area of Silwan for the stated reasons of enforcing Israeli law regarding building permits or reclaiming an archeologically important area to create a park.

It also reveals that the Municipality wants to demolish a large number of Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem.

Good bye Mosque "Dome of the Rock"

In November 2004, the Jerusalem town planner reportedly sent instructions to the building enforcement department to aggressively enforce building laws in a Palestinian neighbourhood of Silwan, on the southern edge of the Old City. Subsequently, in May 2005, the municipality announced plans to demolish 88 homes in this area, home to about 1000 Palestinians. The affected homes make up a section of Silwan the Palestinians call "al Bustan" (which means "the grove") and the settlers call "Emek Ha'Melech" (which means "Valley of the King," referring to King David).

Valley of Molech

The report says that the Government authorities clearly abet the settlers' efforts some specific cases.

"Perhaps the most egregious example of this is the case of the large national park that surrounds the Old City on its south and east," Peace Now said. "Israel recently handed de facto control of this national park - and the many religious and historic sites it contains - to the extremist settler organisation El Ad (which for years has led efforts to establish a Jewish presence in the neighbourhood of Silwan."

Another national park northeast of the Old City, to be placed under the control of Jewish extremists, is in the planning stages. In addition, in recent months the Jerusalem settlers have once again begun taking over Palestinian properties and intensifying activities in the heart of the Muslim Quarter, in Silwan, and in the areas around and overlooking the Old City, it added.

According to the report, such activities are not new. It is a resurgence of a controversial and blatantly illegal campaign to take over homes and property in Palestinian neighborhoods of East Jerusalem that peaked in the 1980's.

"The most significant Israeli government support for such activities took place from the mid-1980's until 1992. During this period there was a covert Israeli government policy of targeting properties in Palestinian neighbourhoods and turning them over to settler organizations like El Ad (whose activities focus exclusively on Silwan) and Ateret Cohanim (whose focus is the Old City). As revealed in an Israeli government-commissioned report, the tactics included declaring Palestinian property to be absentee property (i.e., property whose owners were in "enemy" territory at the end of the 1967 War, and whose assets thus reverted, under Israeli law, to the State of Israel) and turning it over to settlers, and using government pressure to convince Palestinian owners to sell to settlers." (As quoted from a previous article."

The report says that the Israeli Antiquities Authority, the National Parks Authority, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of infrastructures, for example, are clearly support such activities. It adds that there is clear evidence of active Israeli Government support for the settlers.

"For example, in 2005 the Knesset approved NIS 60 million (around $13.5 million) per year for 7 years to fund restoration of the Old City and its environs - funds that some experts argue are tantamount to a slush fund for settler activities in the area. In addition, the decision to give settlers control over various public areas, like the national park discussed earlier, and an historic quarry, discussed below - indicate clear support from at least some elements in the Israeli government." With a special focus on the Jewish settlers (colonizers) target sites in key areas of the Old City and the Holy Basin, these sites are briefed as follows:

- Muslim Quarter: The Government of Israel is preparing to move ahead with a plan to build a new settlement inside Herod's Gate, in the heart of the Muslim Quarter.

- Muslim Quarter: The Government of Israel recently handed over to the Ateret Cohanim settler organisation a new project to "restore" a 3000 year-old quarry running under the Old City, from Herod's Gate 280 meters toward the Temple Mount/Haram al Sharif. The project is being funded by, among others, the Ministry of Infrastructure, from monies budgeted for the rehabilitation of quarries (funds ostensibly meant to deal with the blight on the land left by modern quarries, not the transformation of a 3000 year-old underground quarry into a tourist site run by far right-wing settlers).

- Jaffa Gate: In 2005 settlers claimed to have acquired - under questionable circumstances that are now the subject of legal proceedings- two Palestinian hotels located at Jaffa Gate. This is the entrance to the Old City that will under the best of circumstances (like those envisioned by the Geneva Initiative) require the most delicate and complicated arrangements, since it represents a key point of control, with access to all four Quarters of of the Old City.

The Holy Basin:
- Sheikh Jarrah (north of the Old City): The Shepherd's Hotel, a property formerly owned by the Mufti of Jerusalem, came under Israeli control in 1967 and was used for years as an Israeli Border Police station. In recent years the site has stood vacant, but the building is to be demolished imminently to make way for a new privately funded settlement compound, funded by a company controlled by Irving Moskowitz, a wealthy American businessman and longtime patron of the far right-wing settlers in Jerusalem.

- North of the Old City: A national park is being planned for this area, and will reportedly be turned over to the settlers to run.

- A-Tur (Mount of Olives): In April 2006 settlers took over - under dubious circumstances - two large buildings in the neighbourhood of A-Tur on the Mount of Olives, overlooking the Old City. This is the first time since 1967 the settlers have succeeded in acquiring property in this densely-populated Palestinian neighbourhood.

- Ras al-Amud (Mount of Olives): The recent commencement of construction of the new Israeli police station in E1 means that the current police station in Ras al-Amud will soon be turned over to the settlers. Reportedly the settlers are funding the construction of the new police station in order to facilitate the handover of the property in Ras al-Amud, where the settlers plan to construct a large new settlement complex.

- (Abu Dis): There is a government-sponsored plan, approved by the Jerusalem Municipality, for the construction of several hundred housing units in this area, located in the heart of the Palestinian neighborhood of Abu-Dis - an area isolated from any other Israeli presence. Two new houses (one built illegally) have already been turned over to settlers.

- Silwan (south of the Old City): In March 2006 settlers took over a Palestinian home in Silwan. Earlier attempts to evict the family living in this home in the late 1990s were abandoned after they drew critical media coverage.

- Silwan (south of the Old City): As mentioned earlier, the Government of Israel has handed control of the major elements in the national park adjacent to the Old City to the settlers.

- Abu Tor (south of the Old City): Settlers recently took over a Palestinian property in this neighborhood. The site they took over was being used to serve the mentally disabled.

As for the settlers goals, the report says that the patterns of settlement activity in Jerusalem reveal three "rings" of settlements, two of these reflect religious/messianic ideology,(Moshiach ben Satan)  and the other reflects a political/strategic plan for the city. Clearly, there is a "thermal map" of Jerusalem - not all areas resonate equally for the settlers (and other Israelis). The settlers concentrate their energies on those areas that resonate the most strongly: (For their Hoodlum haha plan of the Dragon) (Dividing for the tribes of Moshiach false Christ)

Ring 1 - the Old City: Plotting the settlement activities inside and immediately around the Old City, it appears clear that the settlers are focusing their activities on a band of settlements extending from Herod's Gate, through the Old City, to Silwan. By establishing a presence in these areas, the settlers appear to want to "ring" the Temple Mount and cut it off from the Palestinian population.

Ring 2 - the Holy Basin: Plotting the settlement activities in the areas beyond the Old City but still within Jerusalem's municipal borders, the settlements clearly delineate the larger area of greatest importance to religious and messianic Jews - the Old City and its visual basin (i.e., the surrounding areas and those areas looking out onto the Old City from the Mount of Olives).

These jews have zero to do with Christ, they are Chaabd Lubavitch of the false Christ to be "Revealed" Moshiach ben wannabe

Ring 3 - Greater Jerusalem: Plotting settlement activities further from the Old City, on the periphery of the municipal borders, reveals a third ring of settlements - one which defines the shape and scope of former Prime Minister Sharon's concept of Greater Jerusalem - consistent with his long-held view that blocking geographic contiguity between the West Bank and East Jerusalem is necessary to ensure that there is no political contiguity between the two.

It concludes by saying that the efforts of the messianic settlers in Jerusalem do not enjoy wide popularity among the Israeli public or even within the Israeli Government.

With respect to the Israeli Government, it should be recalled that, historically, all Israeli governments have recognised the importance of respecting the unique multi-religious, multi-cultural balance of the city. It seems likely that with some prodding from the international community, the new leadership of Israel would be amenable to restoring such a policy.

At the same time, while the messianic settlers are not well-liked or widely-supported in Israel, many people in government fear them, since they are well-organised, well-funded (including substantial tax-exempt funds coming from supporters in the USA), and single-minded in their focus. Historically, Israeli officials appear to have often decided that it is easier to let these settlers have their way than to expend the time and effort to fight them and all of their supporters.

Thus, real pressure - both domestic and international - will likely be a key element to ensuring a change in Israeli government policy to check the dangerous and destabilising activities of these settlers in Jerusalem, Peace Now concluded.

Nasrallah vows to strike south of Haifa; Hezbollah HQ in Beirut hit

Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah vowed Friday to strike Israeli targets south of Haifa, after an Israel Air Force attack left the group's headquarters in Beirut in ruins.

The group was quick to announce that Nasrallah had been unhurt in the strike.

"Hezbollah's secretary-general, family and bodyguards are safe and sound," a Hezbollah statement said. Nasrallah's residence and office were destroyed in the attack.

It gave no word on casualties in the latest of several raids on Hezbollah's stronghold of Haret Hreik.

In a speech aired live shortly after the attack, Nasrallah said the group would strike deeper inside Israel, which it charged with launching the operation in Lebanon to avenge its failure in preventing the abduction and killing of its soldiers by Hezbollah earlier in the week.

Hezbollah would also strike "beyond Haifa and what is beyond, beyond Haifa," Nasrallah said. He made reference to a new strike on an Israeli naval boat in Lebanese waters. The warship was lightly damaged in the strike, and there were no injuries, the IDF said.

"You wanted an open war and we are ready for an open war," the Hezbollah leader said. "You have chosen an all-out war with a nation which... has the capability, the experience and the courage."

Nasrallah said that Lebanon could either surrender or "have faith in Allah and victory," and said he was sure that most of Lebanese would want to stand side by side with Hezbollah.

U.S. Jewish, Christian groups back Lebanon operation

By Daphna Berman, Haaretz Correspondent

Jewish and pro-Israel Christian groups in both Israel and the United States have expressed support for the Israel Defense Forces operation in Lebanon.

"This was certainly an unprovoked attack and Israel has every right to go in and pound them," said Ray Sanders, executive director of Christian Friends of Israel. "It needs to be made very clear that what they [Hezbollah] have done is an act of injustice and Israel has every right to defend herself."

Other pro-Israel Christian groups joined in the chorus of support.

Evangelist radio host Earl Cox of Front Page Jerusalem Global Radio Network called the Hezbollah incursions "barbaric acts of terrorism" and called on his listeners to contact their representatives to "demand" that the United Nations Security Council "take action in support of Israel."

The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem said that "Israel has a right to defend herself" and voiced support for the country's measures to ensure "peace and security in the region."

John Hagee of Viper of mammon

A spokesman for the organization added that its members have gathered to pray that Israel's military and political leadership will continue to exercise "wisdom and unity."

Jewish groups also leaped to Israel's defense. In a letter to U.S. President George W. Bush, American Jewish Committee (AJC) officials called the Hezbollah attacks "an unprovoked act of terrorism," adding that Lebanon "bears full responsibility for terror attacks perpetrated from its territory against a neighboring state."

Justifying their murders

In a conversation with Haaretz on Thursday, Shula Bahat, the AJC's associate executive director, added that the organization "trusts completely" the Israeli government's decision to attack Lebanese targets in response to Hezbollah's incursion on Wednesday.

"No other country would have behaved differently," she said from New York. "Israel is somehow more scrutinized than any other country, and France, the U.K. and the U.S. wouldn't have behaved any differently. If they would have been attacked, they would have behaved in the exact same manner."

of course for they share the same non god the Dragon the murderer from the beginning

Leaders of the AJC, including Bahat, will arrive next week for a three-day solidarity mission that will include a tour of the northern border.

Rabbi Eric Yoffie, president of the Union for Reform Judaism, said in a statement that "under fire from both the north and the south, the State of Israel has no choice but to respond to attacks on her soldiers and her civilian centers."

The Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), the community relations arm of the American Jewish community, said that Israel "rightfully viewed" the Hezbollah attack as an act of war. "The Israeli government not only has a right to respond to these crimes, but it has an obligation to do so," said Lois Frank, chair of the JCPA.

A spokesperson for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said that the organization considers the IDF's attacks in Lebanon "legitimate," since "Israel has the right to defend itself."

"We stand in steadfast solidarity and support with the State of Israel as it acts to protect its civilians in the north and the south, and to free kidnapped soldiers in Gaza and Lebanon," said Abraham Foxman, ADL's national director

Palestinians forcibly open Egypt-Gaza border gate

By The Associated Press

Palestinian militants forced open a border gate between Egypt and Gaza on Friday, wounding an Egyptian officer before letting hundreds of people who had been trapped on the Egyptian side of the border to get into Gaza.

Armed militants stood by as people carrying suitcases crossed into Gaza. Some walked through on crutches while others walked or ran through the gate.

Egyptian police Capt. Mohammed Abdel Hadi said masked Palestinian militants firing guns broke into the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing, clearing the way for the trapped Gazans.

One Egyptian border policeman was wounded when the militants stormed the border, said Abdel Hadi, who heads police on the Egyptian side of Rafah.

The border, Gaza's main gateway to the outside world, has largely been closed since June 25 when Palestinian militants carried out a cross-border raid on a military outpost, killing two Israeli soldiers and capturing one.

Hundreds of people have been stranded on the Egyptian side of the border, unable to get to their homes in Gaza.

Rafah's closure left hundreds of Palestinians who work and study in Egypt stranded, while preventing hundreds of others from leaving the coastal area to receive medical treatment abroad.

Last week, a 26-year-old Palestinian woman suffering from cancer died at the border while waiting to be allowed into Gaza.

US, major allies differ in response to Israeli attack
Jul 14 11:58 AM US/Eastern

Major US allies condemned the ferocity of Israel's military attack on Lebanon, revealing a clear split with Washington's moderate call for restraint.

Cries of alarm mounted worldwide after Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert ordered armed forces to intensify the offensive in response to rockets hitting towns in northern Israel, killing two and wounding 50.

As the civilian death toll in Lebanon mounted above 60 and Israeli warplanes hit buildings, roads and Beirut airport, French President Jacques Chirac questioned whether Israel was seeking Lebanon's destruction.

"One may well ask if there isn't today a kind of wish to destroy Lebanon -- its infrastructure, its roads, its communications, its energy, its airport. And for what?

for their Eretz ITSREALHELL, but of course

"I find honestly -- as all Europeans do -- that the current reactions are totally disproportionate," he said in a live television interview on France's national Bastille Day.

Chirac's comments, echoed across most of Europe and in much of the rest of the world, conflicted with US President George W. Bush's dogged defence of Israel's right to defend itself.

George W. Bushwhacker need it to attempt to Take the Whore city jerusalem for the Sanhedrin

Bush has not publicly criticized the scale of the Israeli assault, blaming Lebanese militia group Hezbollah and radical Palestinian Hamas for sparking the crisis.

Hezbollah guerrillas seized two Israeli servicemen Wednesday, leading to Israel's first ground incursion since it ended its occupation of the south of the country in 2000.

Bush telephoned Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora, however, vowing to push Israel to limit the damage it is wreaking in Lebanon.

"President Bush asserted that he will exert pressure on Israel to limit damage inflicted on Lebanon through the ongoing military operation," said a statement from Siniora's office.

Around the rest of world, however, leaders bluntly condemned Israel's response.

"In my view, Israel is making a mistake," said Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero. "It will only lead to an escalation of the violence."

In Italy, Prime Minister Romano Prodi said he recognized Israel's legitimate concerns and condemning the kidnapping of the soldiers.

But "we deplore the escalation in the use of force, the serious damage to Lebanese infrastructure and the civilian casualties of the raids," the Italian leader added.

The Vatican secretary of state, Angelo Sodano, said: "The Holy See deplores the attack on Lebanon, a free and sovereign country," adding that he felt for the people "who had already suffered in defence of their independence."

Germany called on Israel to consider the longer term impact of its strike on Lebanon.

"On the one hand, Israel has the internationally recognised right to self defence. But at the same time we ask our Israeli friends and partners not to lose sight of the long-term consequences when they exercise this right," German deputy government spokesman Jens Ploetner said.

"Here we think care should be taken about the situation in Lebanon, which is a fragile entity as a state and could be further destabilised," he added.

Already, Israel has imposed an air and sea blockade on Lebanon, shut the only international airport by bombing its runways and damaged the main Beirut-Damascus highway.

Iran, which with Syria is a sponsor of Hezbollah, called on the United Nations to step in. "The international community and the UN must intervene to stop this crime," Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said during a visit to Greece.

In Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim state, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was quoted by the state news agency Antara as saying: "Indonesia repeats its call for Israel to stop its military action."

British Prime Minister Tony Blair called for restraint on all sides but kept closer to the US line.

of course he does for he eats from Bushwhacker's hassidic table

"I totally understand the desire and the need for Israel to defend itself properly and I also understand the plight of Lebanon and the Lebanese government, not to say the many Palestinians that are suffering as well," Blair said in London.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was meeting with Bush before hosting a summit of Group of Eight powers in Saint Petersburg, said he would formally place the Middle East crisis on the agenda.

"I consider that all sides implicated in this conflict should immediately stop military action," Putin said.

people killed by rare virus on tourist paradise

HEALTH problems encountered by tourists who contracted a rare and potentially life-threatening virus while visiting islands in the Indian Ocean such as Mauritius this year have been described by doctors.

The chikungunya virus, which is transmitted by mosquitoes and causes fever, joint and muscle pain, headaches and rashes, caused 77 deaths in the Indian Ocean Islands in the first two months of the year. While local people were worst affected, Western travellers were also found to be carrying the virus.

Symptoms appear between four and seven days after the infecting bite and although the disease is not usually life-threatening, 12 per cent of patients have chronic joint pain three years after contracting the disease.

Scientists were able to track the epidemic, the worst to affect the area in years, in real time using internet surveillance.

At the time they advised all travellers to ensure that they took preventive measures against mosquito bites if visiting the area, while warning vulnerable people such as the elderly, pregnant women and families with young children not to travel.

Writing in The Lancet, researchers from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, described how they came across the chikungunya virus in February in a woman who had recently returned from a holiday in Mauritius. The outbreak has since decreased significantly, and is no longer considered a serious risk, although travellers are advised to continue taking precautions.

Chikungunya is a Swahili word meaning the illness of the bended walker. Most of the 77 deaths reported between January and March occurred in elderly people.

The woman seen by the Swiss doctors had been on a two-week trip to Mauritius, where she was bitten by mosquitoes several times.

She was seen by her local doctor in Switzerland, and then tests were carried out to discount malaria. After receiving treatment her fever subsided, but bad arthritis in both hands persisted, the doctors said. The disease is noted for its persistent nature.

Mauritius, an island particularly popular with honeymooning couples, has about 700,000 visitors annually, generating more than £400 million. The islands suffered this year, however, after the outbreak.

The number of French tourists, who normally account for about a quarter of the total, nosedived.

Chirac: Israel has gone too far

French President Jacques Chirac castigated Israel for its military offensive in Lebanon on Friday, calling it "totally disproportionate," while he and other European leaders expressed fears of a widening Middle East conflict that could spiral out of control.

Referring to Israel's attacks Friday on Lebanon's international airport and other transport links, the latest in a three-day offensive, Chirac asked aloud whether Lebanon's destruction was not the ultimate goal.

But beware, Chirac is under Hassidic Sanhedrin influence

"One could ask if today there is not a sort of will to destroy Lebanon, its equipment, its roads, its communication," Chirac said during an interview in the garden of the presidential Elysee Palace to mark Bastille Day, the French national holiday.

From Russia to Spain, leaders voiced concern at the escalation of the conflict, with Lebanon now drawn into the spiral of violence that has long been the mark of the Israeli-Palestinian crisis.

In Russia, President Vladimir Putin called on all sides to stand down.

"All the sides that are involved in the conflict must immediately cease military action," he said before a G-8 summit this weekend in St. Peterburg.

The European Union was sending its foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, to the region Saturday, and the 25 foreign ministers of the EU were to meet Monday in Brussels to discuss the crisis.

Erkki Tuomioja, foreign minister of Finland, which currently holds the EU's rotating presidency, expressed everyone's silent fear that the conflict could expand, even to Syria, which some countries like France feel may have had a hand in the escalation.

"This is in no way desirable, and the consequences could be truly uncontrollable," Tuomioja said.

In Spain, Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero warned Israel that it was "making a mistake" to attack Lebanon and said that both the EU and the United Nations must secure "an immediate cessation of the hostilities."

"One thing is defense, which is legitimate, and another is a counteroffensive of widespread attack," Zapatero told Punto Radio. "It won't bring anything other than an escalation of violence."

The Vatican, the seat of the Roman Catholic church, echoed that remark - and the fear of a widening conflict.

"In fact, the right to defense on the part of a country does not exempt it from respecting norms of international law above all for that which concerns the safety of the civilian population," said a statement by Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the Vatican's No. 2 official.

Pope Benedict XVI was following the situation, the statement said, warning that it risks "degenerating into a conflict with international repercussions."

News from the Middle East brought a solemn note to the festive Bastille Day celebrations for France, which has historic ties to Lebanon. However, the French president balanced his words, saying that rockets fired on Israel by Hezbollah and Hamas are "inadmissible, unacceptable and irresponsible."

"I have the feeling, if not the conviction, that Hamas and Hezbollah wouldn't have taken the initiatives alone," Chirac said, making a veiled reference to Syria and Iran, which backs Hezbollah.

The growing crisis, along with concern that Iran may be seeking to develop nuclear arms, creates "a truly dangerous situation in which we must be very, very careful," Chirac said.

Explosives-laden drone damages ship's steering

Israel Navy ship seriously damaged off Beirut coast

An explosives-laden drone, apparently launched by Hezbollah, hit an Israel Navy warship off the coast of Beirut, causing serious damage to its steering capability, Israel Defense Forces confirmed Friday night.

The incident occurred at around 8:30 P.M., as the ship was some 16km from the Lebanese coast. The blast caused a fire close to the helicopter landing pad onboard, but was extinguished soon afterward. The ship's steering mechanism also sustained some damage.

Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah earlier said that his group had sunk an Israel Navy ship off the Lebanese coast.

Now in the middle of the sea, facing Beirut, the Israeli warship that has attacked the infrastructure, people's homes and civilians - look at it burning," Nasrallah said in remarks broadcast live shortly after an Israel Air Force strike on Hezbollah's Beirut headquarters.
